of conceptualization. Therefore, those with inherent conceptualization exist, while others do not. Therefore, they are called non-conceptual, just as a horse with only one leg is called legless. Also, The nature of mind itself, and subsequent recollections of conceptualization, etc., those are the intellect's distraction. All memories of the mind itself. The wisdom that is similar to and corresponds with consciousness is called intellect. That which is not in equipoise is called distraction, which is definitely the conceptualization of discernment. The mind's own memory, all memories whether in equipoise or not, are subsequent recollections of conceptualization. Which are those with objects? Which are those without objects? Those with objects are the seven realms of mind. Those seven realms of mind are with objects because they grasp objects. Also, half of the Dharma, whatever arises from the mind, the nature of the Dharma realm, that is with objects. The remaining ten form realms and the Dharma realm, which do not possess the same aspect, are established as without objects. Which are the grasped? Which are the ungrasped? The ungrasped are nine. Those eight and sound, the seven realms of mind and the Dharma realm, and the sound realm are ungrasped. The other nine are of two kinds, both grasped and ungrasped. Among them, the eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body that arise in the present are grasped. Those of the past and future are ungrasped. The realms of form, smell, taste, and touch that arise in the present and are not different from the senses are grasped. The others are ungrasped. What is the meaning of grasped? In order to make benefit and harm mutually consistent, the objects of reliance for mind and mental factors are closely grasped, which is what is called sentient beings in the world. Is it the nature of arising? Or is it transformed from arising? There are two kinds of touch, arising and transformed from arising. Among them, the arising are four. Transformed from arising are softness, etc., from arising.

Because of being born. The remaining nine form dharmas are what are produced, namely the realms of the five faculties and the four objects. The dharma realm, on the one hand, is transformed from what is produced, and is called non-manifest form. The rest are neither. How many are accumulated? How many are not accumulated? Answer: The ten form dharmas are accumulated. The five faculty realms and the five objects are accumulated because they are aggregates of minute particles. Among these eighteen realms, what is the cutter? What is cut? What is the burner? What is burned? What is the measurer? What is measured? Answer: The cutter and what is cut are the four external realms, namely form, smell, taste, and touch, such as an axe and wood, etc. Cutting is also the continuous arising of aggregates, possessing manifestation, and generating distinctions. The faculties are not what is cut, because they cannot be divided into two. Nor are they the cutter, because they are as clear as the light of a mani jewel. Just as the cutter and what is cut are the four external realms, so too are what is burned and the measurer. They themselves are what is burned, and they themselves are the measurer. The faculties are not, because of their clarity. Sound is also not, because of its cessation. There are different views regarding burning and measuring. Some say that these four realms are both the burner and what is measured. How many realms are born from maturation? How many are born from growth? How many are born from a similar cause? How many have substance? How many are momentary? Answer: It is said: What is born from maturation and what is born from growth are the five internal ones. The five, such as the eye, are born from maturation and also born from growth. There is nothing born from a similar cause, because there is no similar cause other than them. Among them, what is born from the cause of maturation is born from maturation. What is increased by food and good deeds and the distinctions of samadhi are born from growth. Sound is growth.
