Therefore, in those specific instances, one obtains the name of the all-knowing of abandonment. The fruit of knowledge is abandonment. Those three causes and the fourth, from transcendence of realms, when one has completely transcended the realms, one obtains the name of the all-knowing. If someone asks who possesses many all-knowings, then, the non-one who abides in the path of seeing, is fully endowed with up to five. For the time being, ordinary beings do not possess it at all. Noble ones also only up to the point of abiding in the forbearance of the Dharma-knowledge of arising in the desire realm. One who possesses the Dharma-knowledge of arising in the desire realm possesses one. One who possesses the subsequent knowledge of arising in the desire realm possesses two. One who possesses the Dharma-knowledge of cessation in the realm of cessation possesses three. One who possesses the subsequent knowledge of cessation in the realm of cessation possesses four. One who possesses the Dharma-knowledge of the path in the realm of the path possesses five. One who abides in meditation possesses six, or one, or two. With six, as long as one has not obtained freedom from desire from desire, or has completely degenerated from it. One who obtains freedom from desire in the desire realm, either before or after, is with one. Even if one obtains the state of an Arhat, it is only with one. If one completely degenerates from the afflictions that are practiced in the form realm, that is also one. One who obtains freedom from desire in the form realm is with two. If one completely degenerates from the afflictions that are practiced in the formless realm, it is also only with two. Furthermore, why are the all-knowings of the non-returner and the Arhat established as only one? Like this: Freedom from desire from the realms, those are combined in order to obtain the fruit. Combining the all-knowings and establishing them as one is due to two reasons. The non-returner and the Arhat both possess these two reasons, therefore the all-knowing is called one. Furthermore, if someone asks, who abandons or obtains with how many all-knowings? Some abandon one, two, five, and six, while what is obtained is five. An Arhat or one who has completely degenerated from freedom from desire from desire abandons one. A non-returner, if one who has obtained freedom from desire in the form realm completely degenerates from freedom from desire in the desire realm, abandons two all-knowings. One who has the subsequent knowledge of the path that precedes freedom from desire abandons five. The gradual one in freedom from desire in the desire realm

Therefore, by doing so, six kinds of complete knowledge are abandoned. Similarly, in terms of attainment, some only attain one kind of complete knowledge, that is, some people attain something they did not have before. Some attain two, that is, those who have completely liberated themselves from desire in the formless realm alone. Some attain six, that is, those who have completely liberated themselves from the fruit of non-return. In reality, no one attains five. The fifth chapter, called "Explanation of Subtle Differences," is completed. As it is said, abandonment also obtains the name of complete knowledge. From the practice of solitary seeing and meditation, it is said that afflictions are abandoned. Regarding this, there are two paths of meditation: the path of seeing, which is called unpolluted, and the path of meditation, which is mundane and supramundane. The path of seeing is only supramundane. It is said from seeing the truth. These are also, the truths are taught as four. Where are they taught? In the teaching of defiled and undefiled dharmas. Is the order in which they are taught there the same? No, but nevertheless, suffering, origin, likewise, cessation and path, thus, their order is this: their own nature is just as previously stated. This also, how do they realize them? Whichever truth was previously realized, that was previously taught. When one aspect of feeling is the nature of suffering, then how is it said that all defiled formations are suffering? Pleasant, unpleasant, and, other than those, the defiled ones themselves, because they possess the three natures of suffering, all sufferings are suffering accordingly. Among them, the pleasant ones suffer from the suffering of change. The unpleasant ones suffer from the suffering of suffering. Those other than them suffer from the suffering of formations. Among the four truths spoken by the Bhagavan, there are also two truths: conventional truth and ultimate truth. What are their characteristics? If one destroys and eliminates others with intelligence, then that intelligence will not enter into it, like a vase and water, it exists conventionally, the existence of ultimate truth is different. If one destroys it into parts, then intelligence will not enter into it.
