Without the three realms and three limits, it is the realm of the unpolluted. The unpolluted dharmas are the objects of the ten minds, and the three aspects of the three realms are: cessation, seeing the path, and what is to be abandoned by meditation, which are the objects of the unpolluted. Thus, knowing that the objects of those sixteen minds are the sixteen dharmas, one should realize those that grow and increase in subtlety. Furthermore, there are two kinds of afflictions with subtle attachments: those that are afflicted and those that are not afflicted by growth. An afflicted mind is one that is in accordance with it, and those subtle attachments that have not abandoned their objects grow, and those that have abandoned what is in accordance with it do not grow, and are accompanied by subtle attachments, because they are together with it. A non-afflicted mind is only accompanied by subtle attachments that grow without abandoning their objects. The order of entry of the ten subtle attachments should be shown. For a while, only the first is associated with ignorance, and one becomes completely ignorant of the truths. Therefore, ignorance leads to doubt. Having become ignorant, doubt arises after hearing both sides. Then there is wrong view, which arises greatly, such as saying that there is no suffering. Then there is the view of the aggregates of destruction, because after removing the aggregates from suffering, one manifestly clings to self. Then there is clinging to extremes, because one clings to the extremes of self being permanent and impermanent. Then there is clinging to the best of ethics, because one believes that only what one clings to is pure. Then there is the view, combined with clinging to the best, because one clings to what one believes to be pure as the best. Therefore, one becomes attached to pride in one's own view, because one is attached to it, and because one becomes arrogant because of it. One becomes angry with others, because having become particularly attached to one's own view, one becomes angry with the views of others who have become enemies of it. Others think that one becomes angry with others by taking and abandoning one's own view. Thus, the order of their entry is that. Afflictions arise from three causes: subtle attachments that have not been abandoned, objects that are close by, and improper attention. Cause and object

Through the power of application, afflictions arise, and the cause is complete. Sometimes they arise solely through the power of the object, such as in the case of an Arhat who is subject to decline. Moreover, these subtle afflictions are explained with the distinctions of outflows, currents, yokes, and grasping. Among these, in one respect, in the desire realm, all afflictions except ignorance are outflows with pervasive entanglement. Except for ignorance, the afflictions that operate in the desire realm are outflows of desire with pervasive entanglement. In the form and formless realms, only subtle afflictions are outflows of existence. Why are they made into one? Because they are unlabelled, inward-looking, and the place of meditative stabilization, they are made into one. These three are the cause. The ignorance of the three realms is established as the outflow of ignorance. Since the root of these outflows is ignorance, it is shown separately as an outflow. Just as it is said, the currents and yokes are also the same. To make it clear to the gods, it is shown separately. The outflow of desire itself is the current of desire and the yoke of desire. Similarly, the outflow of existence is the current of existence and the yoke of existence. Views are excluded because they are separated from the currents and yokes for clarity. The names of companions that are not outflows do not agree with the order of establishment. If the definitive word of outflows is established, as will be explained below, then only views, for the sake of clarity, do not agree with the order of establishment, so they are mixed and established. As it is said, together with ignorance, they are grasping, and views are two, for the sake of distinction. The yoke of desire itself, together with ignorance, is the grasping of desire. The yoke of existence itself, together with ignorance, is the grasping of self-assertion. Removing discipline and asceticism from the yoke of views is the grasping of views. Discipline and asceticism are the grasping of discipline and asceticism. Why is it said that ignorance is mixed and called grasping? Because grasping is for holding onto existence.
