The change of things is not to become other substances, for example, when a gold vessel is broken and made into something else, it is like a change in shape. The change of characteristics is the venerable Yangsgrong, who said that when the Dharma appears in various periods, it has the characteristics of the past, and it is not that it does not have both. Others are also like that. The change of state is the venerable Yigshé, who said that when the Dharma appears in various periods, it reaches the state of the past and so on, and shows different and different. The change of different and different is the venerable Sangye Lha, who said that when the Dharma appears in various periods, it is called different in relation to the previous and the later. Among these, the third is good, which is the change of state. Its function is: to distinguish time through action. When the Dharma does not produce action, then it is the future; when it produces action, then it is the present; when the action is completed and ceases, then it is the past. Its Dharma nature exists in itself and hinders the continuous production of action. Because sometimes it produces action and sometimes it does not. What are the actions of the past, future, and present? And how is it? Does action have other actions? If action is different from Dharma, then that fault will also become a change, but that is not other. Therefore, that fault will not change. If that is the case, then it cannot become time. When Dharma exists, action must also exist. If, like now, the past and the future also exist, then, if it exists, why does it not arise? If Dharma only exists in its own nature, then how can it be established as unborn or extinguished? The Vaibhashikas say that the past and the future only exist as substances. For what cannot be refuted, because one wants to benefit oneself, one should understand it in this way: the nature of Dharma is profound, and it cannot be proven by understanding without doubt. It should be examined what thing is abandoned and separated from that thing, but even if it is abandoned, it is not separated from that thing. For example, suffering.

Even if the object to be abandoned by seeing suffering is abandoned, it still possesses the remaining parts such as pervasive conduct. Even if the first aspect is abandoned, it still possesses the remaining defilements of its object. When the knowledge of suffering has not yet arisen, it is the abandonment of the category to be abandoned by seeing suffering. Even if it is abandoned, it still possesses the pervasive conduct that is related to it, that is, the category to be abandoned by seeing the origin. In the category to be abandoned by meditation, from the nine aspects, even if the first aspect is abandoned, after abandoning it, it is still to be known that it possesses the remaining afflictions related to it. If a thing, how many subtle increases will increase? If this sentence is explained sentence by sentence, then there will be a lot to say. Therefore, if it is briefly said, it is to establish the Dharma as sixteen kinds, to establish the mind as sixteen kinds, and then to show the determination of the object very well. By seeing suffering and accumulation, what is to be abandoned is born from the desire realm, one's own three and the form realm one, also the object of the undefiled consciousness. Briefly speaking, what is to be abandoned by seeing suffering and accumulation, and the Dharma to be abandoned by meditation, in the realm of desire, are the objects of the five minds, that is, one's own three realms, that is, themselves, and the realm of form, that is, only what is to be abandoned by meditation, and the object of the undefiled. The three kinds of Dharma, they themselves in the realm of form, are the objects of the eight minds, that is, one's own three grounds, that is, themselves, and the lower three realms, that is, themselves, and the upper realm one, that is, only what is to be abandoned by meditation, and the object of the undefiled. The three realms belonging to the formless realm, three and the undefiled object also. The three kinds of Dharma, they themselves in the realm of the formless, are the objects of the ten minds, that is, the three kinds of the three realms, that is, themselves, and the object of the undefiled. All that is to be abandoned by seeing cessation and the path, also the object of what is reached by oneself. The Dharma to be abandoned by seeing cessation and the path, one's own mind is only what is to be abandoned by seeing cessation and the path, these Dharmas are the objects reached by it. Leakage
