Aggregation, wrong view and extreme view, view and discipline, and holding precepts as supreme, these ten. From the six predispositions, dividing view into five types, it becomes ten. Again, these ten are explained as ninety-eight, as follows: those ten and seven, seven, eight, except for three, two views, if the desire realm, suffering, etc., are gradually abandoned through seeing. The ten predispositions that are spoken of, in the desire realm, there are ten that are abandoned by seeing suffering. From those ten, there are seven that are abandoned by seeing the origin, and seven that are abandoned by seeing cessation, namely, except for the view of the perishable collection and holding precepts as supreme. There are eight that are abandoned by seeing the path, namely, except for the view of the perishable collection and the extreme view. Thus, the predispositions that are practiced in the desire realm are thirty-two. Similarly, in the form realm there are twenty-eight, and in the formless realm there are twenty-eight. In the desire realm, there are thirty-two that are abandoned by seeing, and four are abandoned by cultivation. As follows: desire, anger, ignorance, and pride. These become thirty-six that are practiced in the desire realm. Except for anger, those themselves, the form realm. Anger becomes five types, and the predispositions belonging to the form realm are thirty-one. The formless realm is the same as this, only thirty-one. Therefore, it is considered ninety-eight. Thus, through the distinction of types, differences, and realms, it is considered ninety-eight. Therefore, the forbearance born from the peak of existence, what is destroyed is what is abandoned by seeing, not what is abandoned by cultivation. The remaining born through both seeing and cultivation. Connecting "destroyed by forbearance," the forbearances that conform to the laws of the remaining grounds are abandoned, according to the circumstances, the noble ones abandon them by seeing, while ordinary people abandon them by cultivation. Not destroyed by forbearance, only by cultivation. Which grounds, which predispositions are destroyed by knowing, therefore, those two are also always abandoned by cultivation.

Yes. The five views have been explained from the perspective of names, but not from the perspective of their own essence. Therefore, it is necessary to explain their essence. The self and what belongs to the self, permanence and annihilation, non-existence and considering the inferior as superior, considering the non-cause as the cause and the non-path as the path, these are the five views. The view of self and what belongs to the self is the view of the aggregates of destruction. Considering as permanent or annihilating the very object that one wants to manifest as the self is the view of holding to extremes. The view that says that if there is truth such as suffering, then it does not exist, is a wrong view. Considering the inferior, which is contaminated, as superior is the view of holding to the supreme view. Considering what is not a cause as a cause and what is not a path as a path is the view of holding to the supreme morality and asceticism. In both cases, the word 'also' and so on are not explicitly used. If considering what is not a cause as a cause and holding morality and asceticism as supreme. Why is it not to be abandoned by seeing the origin? Because considering Ishvara or the lord of beings as the cause is to view it with attachment to it as permanent, one, and the agent. Therefore, like this: Attachment to Ishvara etc. as the cause, that is, with the perversion of permanence and self, completely enters, therefore, that is, to be abandoned by seeing suffering. Among them, holding to permanence and self, those two are only abandoned by seeing suffering. Therefore, the attachment to considering those as the cause will also be abandoned in the same way. With the perversion of permanence and self, is what was said about those two perversions finished? No. However, there are four perversions, that is: Perversion arises from three views, a set of four. From the view of holding to extremes, considering permanence as the perversion of permanence. From the view of holding to the supreme view, considering happiness and purity as perversions. From the view of the aggregates of destruction, considering self as the perversion of self. Why are other afflictions not perverted? Like this, distinguishing perversion by three causes, like this: For the sake of perversion, for the sake of certainty, and for the sake of imputation. The view of annihilation and wrong view are not imputations. The view of holding morality and asceticism as supreme is solely
