Furthermore, that which is not to be abandoned is one, namely the Puruṣārtha-fruit. Of the actions to be abandoned by meditation, those are two, four, and three. Of the fruits of actions to be abandoned by meditation, that which is to be abandoned by seeing is two, namely the Puruṣakāra and the Puruṣārtha-fruits. That which is to be abandoned by meditation is four, except for the Viśleṣa-fruit. That which is not to be abandoned is three, except for the Vipāka and the Niṣyanda-fruits. Those which are not to be abandoned, one, two, and four, are in that order. That which is not to be abandoned, and is to be abandoned by seeing, is one, namely the Puruṣārtha-fruit. That which is to be abandoned by meditation is two, namely the Puruṣakāra and the Puruṣārtha-fruits. That which is not to be abandoned is four, except for the Vipāka-fruit. Again, it should be said that the three actions, such as those born from non-reason, are said to be: born from non-reason, of the nature of afflictions. Some say that it is also the decline of ritual. That which is not of the nature of afflictions also acts non-reasonably, therefore the decline of ritual is born from non-reason. The opposite is born from reason. That which is not either of these is born from neither reason nor non-reason. From what does one birth throw only one birth? Or does it also throw many? Similarly, do many actions also throw only one birth? Or do they throw only many? This is the established tenet, that one throws one birth, one action throws only one birth. The action thrown by one action is considered to be many complete makers, just as one painting of a painter is divided by form and color, and is completed by many. It is not only action that throws birth, but there are also other things such as Vipāka. In all cases, mindless Samāpattis are neither able to throw nor able to obtain. Mindless Samāpattis with Vipāka also throw similar kinds, because they do not arise simultaneously with action. Those who have obtained cannot either, because action and fruit are not the same. What is the nature of the three obscurations that are said?

If so, the five inexpiable karmas, as well as intense afflictions, evil destinies, unconscious beings, and unpleasant sounds, are considered the three obscurations. The five inexpiable karmas are karmic obscurations. Intense and continuous afflictions are afflictive obscurations. The three evil destinies, as well as one side of humans and gods, are the obscurations of fruition. Furthermore, to know in which sentient beings these obscurations exist, for the time being, generally speaking, the five inexpiable karmas exist in the three realms of hell, except for unpleasant sounds. In those places, it is only men and women, not including food, etc., because the benefit and shame are very small. Their parents' benefit is also very small, because they have become the masters of incomplete bodies. Even so, they mostly do not approach their parents, because they know shame and embarrassment. The karmic obscuration has been explained. In the remaining five realms of beings, afflictive obscurations and obscurations of fruition are the remaining ones. Among humans, unpleasant sounds are the obscuration of fruition. Among the gods, they are unconscious beings. Among the five inexpiable karmas, three are killing. One is the nature of false speech. One is the act of killing. Schism in the Sangha is discord, a non-dharmic quality with inherent nature, not afflictive, nor prophetic. It is truly associated with the Sangha, its fault is falsehood. It is truly associated with the divider. What is called schism in the Sangha is discord, a non-corresponding dharma, not afflictive, how could it become an inexpiable crime? With what falsehood does one divide it, that is the nature of an inexpiable crime. It is also truly associated with the divider. It matures in Avici hell for a kalpa. Others are uncertain in the intermediate kalpa. Furthermore, if someone has committed many inexpiable crimes, and they all mature into uninterrupted results, then what will these become for him? It becomes even more painful with greater suffering. With what means does he, with numerous inexpiable crimes in hell, obtain a huge and youthful body that experiences two, three, four, or five times the sensations?
