Third, if it is said that the world is destroyed by fire, water, and wind, it is because they are in accordance with faults and laws. In the first dhyana, conceptualization and analysis are faults, because they cause the mind to be completely distressed, so they are like fire. In the second dhyana, joy is a fault, because it is connected with extreme pliancy and makes the body soft, so it is like water. In the third dhyana, breathing in and breathing out, they are only wind, therefore, in whatever samadhi the internal faults arise, the external is also the same. For this reason alone, there is no unsteadiness in the fourth dhyana. The fourth dhyana is called unmoving because it is free from internal faults, therefore external faults do not enter here either. Then, will the vessel of the fourth dhyana be eternal? It is not eternal, because its immeasurable palace arises and is destroyed together with sentient beings. In the fourth dhyana, the birth or death transference of sentient beings is possible, because it is connected with the immeasurable palace, so it is not eternal. Then, in what order do these destructions occur? For a while, without interruption, fire destroys seven times. Fire destruction occurs seven times. After that, water destroys once. After seven fire destructions, water destroys once. Like that, after seven water destructions, fire destroys seven times again. After that, finally, wind destroys. After that, wind destroys once. Therefore, destruction is in that order. The chapter on the world is the third chapter of the Abhidharmakośa. Furthermore, who created the various forms of sentient beings and the vessel world? No one created it by thinking beforehand. However, the karma of sentient beings creates various worlds. What is karma? It is thought and what is made by it. Thought and karma made by thought. And what is made by thought is made by thought. These two karmas are three, namely the karma of body, speech, and mind. Among them, thought is the karma of mind. It produces

Actions of body and speech, whatever arises from the mind, those that are called "intentional actions," should be understood as actions of body and speech. Those are discernible and non-discernible. Those are also of the nature of discernible and non-discernible. Among them, the discernible of the body is considered shape. Because of the influence of the mind, the body remains as it is, and that is the discernible of the body. Some say "going," to refute that: Why is going not a compounded thing? Because it is momentary. All compounded things are momentary, therefore it is impossible to move to another place, so it is not going. It should be known as momentary, because compounded things inevitably perish. The perishing of things arises from no cause. If it is not just at the moment of arising, then it will not arise later either. This is also evident, if perishing has a cause, then it is also seen that wisdom, sound, and flames arise from non-perishing, therefore this does not depend on a cause. Furthermore, those who think that form and so on perish by contact with fire, the answer to them is also this: nothing arises from no cause. Also, the cause will also become the destroyer. From the action of coloring arising from contact with fire, if the same color, more color, and most color arise, then those perishing will become the destroyers of those causes, or there will be no difference. That is also unreasonable. Therefore, if there is no going, then the statement that the discernible of the body is shape is established. The Sutra school says that shape is not a substance, if it exists, there will be dual grasping. Even if seen with the eyes, it will be thought to be long, and even if touched with the body, it will be known, therefore there is no dual grasping in the sense base of form. Whatever form with obstruction exists, it must exist in atoms, but it does not exist in atoms. Shapes such as long do not exist in atoms. Therefore, it is only in many places of aggregation that it is considered long and so on. The Vaibhashikas say that shape is also a substance, the body...
