Okay. The place where the gods reside and engage in good and non-good deeds is called the Sudharma Hall. Briefly, it is the abode of the gods related to the earth. Above that, the immeasurable palaces of the gods, the manifestation of their containers, in brief, are the six pleasures of desire. Only these six enjoy the pleasures of desire, not the others. They are also, embracing in pairs, holding hands, laughing and gazing, which is intercourse. Those who dwell on earth, the Four Great Kings and the Thirty-three Gods, like humans, engage in intercourse in pairs. They are also completely separated from suffering by the blowing of the wind. The rest, such as embracing, are according to their number. Whichever god or goddess, on whose lap a young god or goddess is born, that is also the child of the two, and also cries. If asked how big they are born? They are born between the ages of five and ten. In those classes of gods, according to their number. Those with form, all are complete with clothing. Here, the three births of desire, the gods and humans of the desire realm, should be known in the desire realm. Here, those who dwell near desire are humans and the four classes of gods. Those who transform desire themselves are the gods of Nirmāṇarati. Those who transform desire by others are the gods of Paranirmita-vaśavartin. In the form realm, the three births of bliss are the nine grounds of the three dhyānas. Those gods are the bliss born of solitude, the bliss of joy born of samādhi, and the abiding in the bliss without joy, which are the births of bliss in order. The abodes of these classes of gods, from abode to lower abode, how far, from there to above, how far. For example, from here, forty thousand yojanas is the abode of the Four Great Kings. As far as the distance to them, from there upwards is the Thirty-three. Likewise, how far from the Thirty-three downwards to Jambudvipa, and how far to the abode of the Anāgāmins above, should be explained in detail. Also, can those born in the lower place see the immeasurable palaces of the highlands from below?
