What I say is with cause and condition. What is the affliction of beings with cause and condition? Name, if the form aggregate becomes one and suffers, beings will not be attached to form, nor will they be happy, nor will they follow happiness. Transcending small happiness and joy, they will not even recognize the cause of happiness. Name, for what reason is the form aggregate not one and suffering, but associated with happiness and joy, transcending small happiness and joy, and recognizing happiness? Therefore, beings develop correct attachment to form, and after developing attachment, they engage in correct union, and through correct union, they become completely afflicted. Feeling, perception, volition, name, if the consciousness aggregate becomes one and suffers, beings will not be attached to consciousness, nor will they be happy, nor will they follow happiness.

Associated with suffering, and the reduction and transcendence of painful discomfort, because of knowing the cause of suffering, beings are completely free from attachment to form, free from desire and attain liberation, and after attaining liberation become completely pure. Feeling, perception, formation, and name, if consciousness becomes a unified bliss, then beings will not be free from desire from consciousness, nor will they suffer, nor will they follow suffering. If suffering and discomfort are reduced and transcended, and even the cause of suffering cannot be known, then, why is name not a unified bliss, but suffering, associated with suffering, suffering, and the reduction and transcendence of painful discomfort, thereby knowing suffering, therefore, beings are free from desire from consciousness, free from desire and attain liberation, and after attaining liberation become completely pure. Name, by this cause and condition, beings are purified, all the afflictions of beings, by these causes, are complete with cause and condition. Then, the Licchavi name, delighted and rejoiced at what the Blessed One said, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, and departed from the presence of the Blessed One, thus he spoke. The sutra speaks of craving, the beginning is in Shravasti. Monks, these four are noble truths, what are the four? Namely, the noble truth of suffering, the arising of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering. What is the noble truth of suffering? The suffering of birth, the suffering of old age, the suffering of sickness, the suffering of death, the suffering of separation from loved ones, the suffering of encountering the unloved, and the suffering of not obtaining what is desired, in short, the five aggregates of grasping are all suffering. What is the noble truth of the arising of suffering? The delightful desire

Craving accompanied by attachment is the origin of rebirth, delighting greatly in this and that. What is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering? It is the complete abandonment, the separate cessation, the exhaustion, the detachment, the cessation, the pacification, the disappearance of craving accompanied by attachment to delight, delighting greatly in this and that. What is the noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering? It is the eightfold noble path, namely: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. As the Blessed One said: "Action, craving, and ignorance are the causes of future actions." Regarding the second chapter of the Abhidharma-kosa, which is explained in the eleventh sutra of the human chapter, the second summary verse collected by the group of six sense bases, in the context of "In the unconditioned, those do not exist," one should understand that nirvana is shown only as the absence of things, and the written text should be read. In the text called "Five Types of Seeds," the setting is in Shravasti. Monks, these five are the five forms of seeds. What are the five? Namely, the root seed, the stem seed, the joint seed, the graft seed, and the seeds born from seeds. Monks, if those seeds are not broken, not rotten, not decayed, not damaged by wind and heat, and possess vitality and are complete, but there is only the earth element and not the water element, then those seeds will not grow, increase, and expand. Monks, if those seeds are not broken, not rotten, not decayed, not damaged by wind and heat, and possess vitality and are complete, but there is only the water element and not the earth element, then those seeds will not grow, increase, and expand. Monks, if those seeds are not broken, not rotten, not decayed, not damaged by wind and heat, and possess vitality and are complete, and there is both the earth element and the water element.
