One should go to where? To where the one struck by weapons, the one with a herd of cows, is, at the black rocky hillside of the mountain of the Righteous Ascetic (Sanskrit: Ṛṣi). Having heard what the Blessed One said, those monks replied, "So it is, Venerable One." Then, the Blessed One, together with those very many monks, approached the black rocky hillside of the mountain of the Righteous Ascetic. At that time, the Venerable One with a Herd of Cows, his body completely separated, was lying on the ground. Having seen the Venerable One with a Herd of Cows, his body completely separated, lying on the ground, the Blessed One called out to the monks, saying, "Monks, have you seen this son of good family, the one with a herd of cows, whose body, completely separated, has been abandoned on the ground?" The monks replied, "So it is, Venerable One." The Blessed One further said, "Monks, have you seen the body of this son of good family, the one with a herd of cows, from which smoke is rising, and which, like mist and darkness, is spreading and radiating to the east, south, west, and north?" The monks replied, "So it is, Venerable One." The Blessed One said, "Monks, this is the Evil One, Mara, who is trying to correctly discern the consciousness of this son of good family, the one with a herd of cows." The Blessed One further said, "Monks, when this son of good family, the one with a herd of cows, dies after being struck by weapons, his faculties are completely calmed, the color of his face is completely clear, and the color of his skin becomes completely white, and his consciousness has nowhere to go." Then, the Blessed One made a prophecy about the Venerable One with a Herd of Cows. Then, at that time, the Evil One, Mara, spoke this verse: "Whether above, below, or on the sides, and in all directions and corners, I have searched for where the one with a herd of cows has gone, but I have found nothing." The Blessed One instructed: "Whoever does not create desire for even a little attachment, having uprooted craving, will completely enter into Nirvana." Then, the Evil One, feeling displeased and with his mind pierced by suffering, immediately disappeared. It is said that this comes from the "Emanating from the Ten" section. From the first sutra of the "Emanating from the Ten" section of the collection of six sutras, it is said: "Venerable ones, there is one thing that increases (merit), and that is mindfulness of all virtuous dharmas. One should meditate."
