Monks, this is a mark of a great man. Monks, great men have the voice of Brahma, or like the kalaviṅka bird or a heavenly drum, pleasing and captivating, possessing a divine voice. Monks, great men have wide eyes like the eyelashes of a cow, they have a protuberance on the crown of their head, and between their eyebrows grows a white hair like a conch shell, curled to the right. Monks, this is a mark of a great man. Monks, whoever possesses these thirty-two marks of a great man, that great man will have two destinies, and no other. If he remains in the household, he will become a universal monarch, victorious over the four directions, possessing dharma, a king of dharma with dharma, possessing the seven precious things. His seven precious things are as follows: namely, the precious wheel, the precious elephant, the precious horse, the precious jewel, the precious woman, the precious householder, and the precious general as the seventh. He will beget brave and resolute sons, with the best physical forms, who can completely destroy the enemy forces, possessing a thousand sons, and he will conquer and dwell in the entire earth up to the edge of the ocean with dharma, without harm or injury, without sticks or weapons. If he shaves his hair and beard, puts on robes, and goes forth from home to homelessness with faith and complete purity, then that Blessed One is a Tathagata, an Arhat, a Perfectly Awakened One.

རྒྱས་ཞེས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་མངོན་པར་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །（世尊）开示说，名叫“རྒྱས་”者将会在世间显现而广为人知。如经中所说，大丈夫的三十二相已作了统一的阐述，而八十随形好却没有阐述，现在将零散的部分收集起来进行叙述。因为大多数的经典已经隐没了。从《律藏》第四品中找到的，以及《赞扬印度楝树之子经》等经典中所阐述的，还有如海一般的论述中所提到的相和随形好，都汇集并陈列出来。诸佛薄伽梵的指甲广阔，且薄、高、如铜色、油润、圆润、丰满，手指纤细优美。脉络没有纠结，不显现且非常细微，踝骨平整且不显现，足部平整且不摇动，呈红色。如狮子、大象、牛王、天鹅王一般向右行走。小腿没有毛发，坚硬且匀称。小腿完美圆润，聚拢且丰满，不是不显眼的细纹。腿如水生树干般美好，如棉花般匀称，依次相连。隐秘处如半月般宽广而高耸，毛发稀少。背部下端平滑，完美聚拢，四方但不宽阔，如金刚杵般美丽。肚脐深陷且没有孔隙，颜色鲜红且向右旋转。腹部平滑，没有毛发，坚硬且协调。腹内没有凸起，完全圆润且清净。肋骨平整相接，部分既不太长又平滑。脊背不凹陷，部分稍短，如金刚杵般生长且长。平滑的纹路界限分明，不显现的构造。肩部丰满，稳固且界限分明，胸部平坦、高耸且宽广。乳头不太粗大且高耸。如海螺般向右旋转，纹路非常细微，不散乱且非常平整，呈红色。胸怀极其宽广，能容纳极长的时间。腋窝肌肉丰满，宽广而高耸。

The Blessed One said, "The one named 'རྒྱས་' will appear in the world and become widely known." As explained in the sutras, the thirty-two major marks of a great being have been described in a unified manner, but the eighty minor marks have not been elaborated. Now, I will gather and describe the scattered details. This is because most of the sutras have disappeared. From the fourth section of the Vinaya Pitaka, what is found, and what is explained in sutras such as the 'Praise of the Son of the Indian Lilac Tree,' and the descriptions of marks and minor marks from ocean-like treatises, are all compiled and arranged here. The nails of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are broad, thin, high, copper-colored, smooth, round, full, and the fingers are gracefully slender. The veins have no knots, are invisible and very fine, the ankles are even and invisible, the feet are level and unmoving, and they are red. They walk to the right like a lion, an elephant, a bull king, or a swan king. The calves have no hair, are firm and even. The calves are perfectly round, gathered and full, and not inconspicuous lines. The legs are as beautiful as the trunks of aquatic trees, as even as cotton, and sequentially connected. The secret place is wide and high like a half-moon, with sparse hair. The lower back is smooth, perfectly gathered, square but not too wide, and beautiful like a vajra. The navel is deep and without pores, the color is bright red and it spirals to the right. The abdomen is smooth, without hair, firm and harmonious. There are no bulges inside the abdomen, it is completely round and pure. The ribs join evenly, the parts are neither too long nor smooth. The spine does not sink, the parts are slightly short, growing like a vajra and long. The smooth lines are well-defined, with an invisible structure. The shoulders are full, stable and well-defined, the chest is flat, high and broad. The nipples are not too thick and high. They spiral to the right like conch shells, the lines are very fine, not scattered and very even, and red. The chest is extremely broad, able to accommodate a very long time. The armpits are fleshy, wide and high.
