From this, the mind becomes completely liberated, and my birth is exhausted. The pure conduct has been practiced. What needed to be done has been done. It is known that there is nothing beyond this existence, and thus, liberation and the wisdom of liberation will be seen. If not liberated, solely through the desire for the Dharma, the craving for the Dharma, the delight in the Dharma, and the extreme joy in the Dharma, having abandoned the five fetters that are in accordance with the final part, one will attain complete Nirvana in the intermediate state. If one does not attain complete Nirvana in the intermediate state, one will attain complete Nirvana after being born. If one does not attain complete Nirvana after being born, one will attain complete Nirvana without effort. If one does not attain complete Nirvana without effort, one will attain complete Nirvana with effort. If one does not attain complete Nirvana with effort, one will ascend upwards. If one does not ascend upwards, solely through the desire for the Dharma, the craving for the Dharma, the delight in the Dharma, and the extreme joy in the Dharma, one will be born sharing the same destiny as the gods without clouds. If one is not born sharing the same destiny as the gods without clouds, one will be born sharing the same destiny as the gods of increasing merit. If one is not born sharing the same destiny as the gods of increasing merit, one will be born sharing the same destiny as the gods of great fruit.

Between the cessation of attachment and the separation from attachment, this sutra is between cessation and reaching nirvana. Therefore, knowing thus, seeing thus, the mind is liberated from the outflows of desire, liberated from the outflows of existence and the outflows of ignorance, my birth is exhausted, the pure conduct is established, what needs to be done is done, there is no other existence than this, thus liberated, and seeing the wisdom of liberation. It will not be liberated, but the desire for the Dharma, the craving for the Dharma, the joy in the Dharma, and the extreme joy in the Dharma, being born from this, will completely enter nirvana. It will not completely enter nirvana after being born, but will completely enter nirvana without effort. It will not completely enter nirvana without effort, but will completely enter nirvana with effort. It will not completely enter nirvana with effort, but will transfer upwards. It will not transfer upwards, but the desire for the Dharma, the craving for the Dharma, the joy in the Dharma, and the extreme joy in the Dharma, being born from this, will be born equal to the gods who approach the sphere of infinite space. Monks, here, by what manner, what sign, what characteristic does a monk completely transcend the sphere of infinite space, and by "consciousness is infinite" approach the sphere of infinite consciousness and abide, that manner, that sign, that characteristic, he does not attend to, however, the feeling that is the object there, or the thought, or the action, or the aspect of consciousness, he attends to those dharmas without interruption, as before, craving is exhausted, from the cessation of attachment to the separation from attachment, this sutra is between cessation and reaching nirvana. Therefore, knowing thus, seeing thus, the mind is liberated from the outflows of desire, liberated from the outflows of existence and the outflows of ignorance, my birth is exhausted, the pure conduct is established, what needs to be done is done.
