I exist, therefore, the limb of enlightenment of meditative concentration is the cause of achieving manifest knowledge, true realization, and nirvana. The reason for meditative concentration is also a limb of enlightenment, which is the cause of achieving manifest knowledge, true realization, and nirvana. Monks, in this way, explaining the meditative concentration of right and equal enlightenment, the meditative concentration of right and equal enlightenment becomes two kinds. Monks, equanimity, the limb of right and equal enlightenment, should be explained. In what way does equanimity, the limb of right and equal enlightenment, become two kinds? There is equanimity towards virtuous dharmas, and there is also equanimity towards non-virtuous dharmas. Equanimity towards virtuous dharmas is also a limb of enlightenment, which is the cause of achieving manifest knowledge, true realization, and nirvana. Equanimity towards non-virtuous dharmas is also the cause of achieving manifest knowledge, true realization, and nirvana. Monks, in this way, explaining equanimity, the limb of right and equal enlightenment, equanimity, the limb of right and equal enlightenment, becomes two kinds. Monks, in this way, explaining the seven limbs of enlightenment, the seven limbs of enlightenment become fourteen kinds. Thus spoke the Blessed One. The joy of the Blessed One and the dharmas like the place of joy are said to be the joy of right and equal enlightenment, and anger and the reason for anger are said to be the obscuration of malice, etc. For these, one should look at the newly written content and speak. Right view, thought, and effort, etc., should be observed as previously described in the Bhikshuni Dharma Giving Sutra. These six sources of contact should be understood as past karma, etc. In the first chapter of the Abhidharmakosha, from what is born from Vipaka, and from what is born from growth, the inner five, etc., how to temporarily summarize the verses with the correct basis, the first is the previous verse, the second is the Sutra Pitaka, and from it understand the four wisdoms.

Because I am not related, the discussion is taking place in the hearing place. Monks, these eight are retinues, which eight? The retinue of the king, the retinue of the Brahmin, the retinue of the householder, the retinue of the renunciate, the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the retinue of the Thirty-three Gods, the retinue of Mara, and the retinue of Brahma. Thus the Blessed One taught. When the monk Ashvajit asked, 'Where will these great elements completely cease?' Regarding this question, in the second sutra of the first section of the Vinaya Pitaka, the Blessed One said, beginning with the householder fisherman's son. Householder's son, when a monk gathers in this Sangha, and any Sangha alone in a secluded place enters into samadhi, such a reflection arises in the mind: 'Just like this, where will these four great elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, completely cease? Where will they completely vanish, be exhausted, and be touched?' Then, that monk disappeared from Jambudvipa and went into the midst of the gods belonging to the retinue of the Four Great Kings. Then, that monk said to the gods belonging to the retinue of the Four Great Kings: 'Just like this, where will these four great elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, completely cease? Where will they completely vanish, be exhausted, and completely touched?' They said: 'Monk, we also do not know or see where these four great elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, will completely cease, completely vanish, be exhausted, and be touched. However, there are the Four Great Kings who are more distinguished and more excellent than us, they know where these four great elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, will completely cease, completely vanish, be exhausted, and be touched.' Then, that monk went to where the Four Great Kings were, and having arrived, said to the Four Great Kings: 'Just like this, the four great elements, earth, water, fire, and wind,
