Among those, for those who perceive formlessness, showing the appearance of external white form, like the appearance of white light, like the brightness of a star. From the birthplaces of the all-encompassing (kṛtsnāyatana), this birthplace of all-encompassing is said to be the most excellent. Similarly, the sentient beings of the all-encompassing are also impermanent, completely changing, from there onwards, as previously said, for the inferior, what need is there to mention, until there. This is the sixth establishment of the most excellent. The birthplaces of cessation are ten in number. What are the ten? Cessation arises simultaneously with earth, without duality or difference above, below, and in all directions, immeasurable and boundless, from there onwards, as previously said, until the cessation of consciousness. Among those birthplaces of cessation, the cessation of the birthplace of infinite consciousness, without duality or difference above, below, and in all directions, immeasurable and boundless, until that birthplace, this is said to be the most excellent. Similarly, for the sentient beings who have entered into the birthplace of cessation, it is also impermanent, completely changing, from there onwards, as previously said, for the inferior, what need is there to mention, until there. This is the seventh establishment of the most excellent. Among the views of the outsiders, the most excellent is not to become the arising of self (ātman). Not to become the arising of self, this itself is the most excellent. Similarly, for the sentient beings who have become views, it is also impermanent, completely changing, from there onwards, as previously said, for the inferior, what need is there to mention, until there. This is the eighth establishment of the most excellent. Among the outsiders, those who speak of purity and cleanliness, the most excellent is this, like this: established as speaking of the most pure peak of existence, which is the remaining aggregates of the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. Similarly, for the completely pure sentient being, it is also impermanent, completely changing, from there onwards, as previously said, for the inferior, what need is there to mention, until there. This is the ninth establishment of the most excellent. Among those who attain nirvana in this very life, the most excellent is like this: established as nirvana in this very life, which is the complete abandonment of the six sense bases of contact, the definite abandonment, the purified

Transformation, exhaustion, cessation of detachment, tranquility, ability. Likewise, sentient beings in Nirvana also completely become impermanent, as before, what need is there to even look at the inferior? This is the tenth supreme establishment. The intermediate verse says: Brahma who subdues the hosts, And the intention in the path of light, The birth place of awe-inspiring exhaustion, And the pure view is Nirvana. Whatever is not mentioned in the sutras, Fourteen things arise. In the ninth of the Long Agama Sutra, monks, other non-Buddhist wanderers say: Your Shramana Gautama says that this world is permanent, this is true, and the rest is foolish. And saying impermanent, and saying permanent is also permanent, impermanent is also impermanent, and saying neither permanent nor impermanent, and saying with boundaries, and saying without boundaries, and saying also with boundaries and also without boundaries, and saying neither with boundaries nor without boundaries, and saying the body is the same as life, and saying life is different from the body, and saying the Tathagata exists after death, and saying the Tathagata does not exist after death, and saying the Tathagata exists and does not exist after death, and saying the Tathagata neither exists nor does not exist after death, how should it be taught? There is a place to ask. To this, it should be said: It is not so. Monks, when other non-Buddhist wanderers ask: Why has your Shramana Gautama not taught these dharmas in one aspect? It should be said: These are not close to meaning, not close to Dharma, not close to pure conduct, and cannot accomplish direct realization, direct perception, and Nirvana. Therefore, the Blessed One has not taught any part. Monks, other non-Buddhist wanderers ask: Your Shramana Gautama teaches other What part? It should be like this
