Nor does one recite it extensively. Regarding the Dharma that has been heard, understood, and comprehended, one does not clearly explain it to others, but rather, regarding the Dharma that has been heard, understood, and comprehended, one goes alone to a secluded place, contemplates and measures the meaning, and discriminates. In that way, in that way, regarding the Dharma that has been heard, understood, and comprehended, one goes alone to a secluded place, contemplates and measures the meaning, and discriminates, in that way, in that way, one will separately know the Dharmas and separately know their meaning. When one separately knows the Dharmas and separately knows their meaning, great joy will arise, until one is separated from desire and liberated. This is the fourth place of arising of liberation. From this, a monk or nun abides, and what is not remembered will be transformed into abiding in remembrance, until the unobtained Nirvana is achieved and unsurpassed bliss is obtained. Furthermore, a monk teacher or a practitioner of pure conduct, like the position of a skilled master, or any other who is good at teaching the Dharma, does not teach the Dharma, nor does one extensively recite the Dharma that has been heard, understood, and comprehended, nor does one go alone to a secluded place to contemplate and measure the meaning and discriminate regarding the Dharma that has been heard, understood, and comprehended, but rather, one excellently and thoroughly grasps the excellent causes of samadhi, intensely attends to them, intensely relies on them, and intensely distinguishes them. In that way, in that way, one excellently and thoroughly grasps the excellent causes of samadhi, intensely attends to them, intensely relies on them, and intensely distinguishes them, in that way, in that way, one will correctly know the meaning of each Dharma separately, and correctly know each Dharma separately. When one correctly knows each Dharma separately and correctly knows each meaning separately, great joy will arise, until one is separated from desire and liberated. This is the fifth place of arising of liberation, from which the remembrance of the monk or nun

There is the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, such as beings without perception. This is a place of birth. Some sentient beings, who are not of form, completely transcend the realm of nothingness in every way, and abide having attained the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, such as the gods who approach the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. This is the second place of birth. Thus it is said in the Sutra of Many Realms. The setting is in Shravasti. Then, the venerable Ananda, alone in seclusion, dwelling in inner concentration, such thoughts of the mind arose: Whatever slight fear arises and is born, all that arises in children, but not in the wise. Whatever slight harm, extreme harm, and near extreme harm arise, all this will arise in children, but not in the wise. Then, the venerable Ananda arose from inner concentration and went to where the Blessed One was. Having arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Venerable, here, I, alone in seclusion, dwelling in inner concentration, such thoughts of the mind arose: Whatever slight fear arises and is born, all that arises in children, but not in the wise. Whatever slight harm, extreme harm, and near extreme harm arise and are born, all that arises in children, but not in the wise. Ananda, it is so, it is so. Whatever slight fear arises, all that arises in children, but not in the wise. Whatever slight harm, extreme harm, and near extreme harm arise and are born, all that arises in children, but not in the wise. Ananda, it is like this: when dry reeds or many grass huts are burned by fire, it is seen to be burned by fire.
