Among the best of 'I' is this: it is the giving of Dharma. Among the best of pleasant things is this: it is when a son of good family diligently seeks the Dharma and always speaks pleasantly when listening. Among the best of meaningful actions is this: it is when those who lack faith are made to have complete faith, accomplishing, subduing, establishing, and well-establishing it. Those with broken moral discipline are made to have complete moral discipline. The miserly are made to have complete generosity. Those with broken wisdom are made to have complete wisdom, up to the point of well-establishing it. Among the best of meaningful agreements is this: it is when a stream-enterer agrees meaningfully with a stream-enterer. A once-returner with a once-returner. A non-returner with a non-returner. An Arhat agrees meaningfully with an Arhat. The Blessed One spoke thus. The Sugata said thus. The Teacher further spoke thus: Giving and, Speaking pleasantly, Here, meaning is action, Meaningful agreement with sentient beings. As they know it, that and that, If not gathered by this, By the cause of mother and son, Offerings will not be obtained, Also by the cause of father and son. Therefore, gathering by this, Following and practicing, possessing Dharma, Having obtained the nature of greatness, Therefore, the world will see it. Then, the forest dweller with hands, along with five hundred attendants, rejoiced at what the Blessed One had said, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with their heads, and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. In the phrase 'Whatever form, past or otherwise...' Monks, the aggregates and the aggregates of grasping should be shown, and it should be viewed according to the previously explained Sutra. In the phrase 'Desire is also of three kinds...' In short, the example of desire is that the basis of discussion is in Shravasti. Then, another monk arose from correct concentration within, went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone there, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, and sat to one side. Having sat to one side.
