Dependent on the body, mind, and dharma, mental consciousness arises. The meeting of these three produces contact, and due to contact, feelings of pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain arise. Monks, those who are attached to pleasant feelings are delighted and overjoyed, clinging and dwelling in them, thus increasing their desire for pleasant feelings. Monks, when touched by painful feelings, they experience unbearable sensations, becoming angry, malicious, and dejected, dwelling in that state, generating anger, and increasing their hatred for painful feelings. If they do not truly understand the arising, vanishing, savoring, drawbacks, and escape from these feelings, they will increase their ignorance towards pleasant and painful feelings. Monks, if a monk has not abandoned the increasing desire for pleasant feelings, has not abandoned the increasing hatred for painful feelings, and has not abandoned the increasing ignorance towards feelings that are neither pleasant nor painful, then the latent tendencies of views and pride will arise, and without separating from ignorance and desire, without generating correct wisdom, it is impossible to completely end suffering. Monks, if a monk has abandoned the increasing desire for pleasant feelings, abandoned the increasing hatred for painful feelings, and abandoned the increasing ignorance towards feelings that are neither pleasant nor painful, then the latent tendencies of views and pride will not arise, and by separating from ignorance and desire, generating correct wisdom, it is possible to completely end suffering. Monks, there is a right view that sees things as they are, which becomes an eye, becomes wisdom, leads to peace, leads to realization, leads to perfect enlightenment, and leads to nirvana. Monks, there is a right view that sees things as they are, which becomes an eye, becomes wisdom, leads to peace, leads to realization, leads to perfect enlightenment, and leads to nirvana. What is that? Monks, here, a monk sees the eye as selfless.

And also correctly observe accordingly, form, eye consciousness, eye contact, and the inner self-nature feeling arising from eye contact, pleasant feeling, painful feeling, neither pleasant nor painful feeling, are also selfless, thus correctly observing accordingly. Monks, this is called seeing as it is, called the eye being accomplished, until as before entering into nirvana. This is the sixth category of Dharma called the six groups. Monks, the sixth category of Dharma called the six groups that I have spoken to you, is good in the beginning, good in the middle, good in the end, good in meaning, good in words, until as before, these that are taught are widely and thoroughly explained. Contact and feeling are considered to be the result of each other, this statement is not recognized in the sutra, this topic was at Shravasti. Monks, it is not that various feelings arise depending on various desires, nor that various contacts arise depending on various feelings, nor that various realms arise depending on various contacts. However, various contacts arise depending on various realms, various feelings arise depending on various contacts, and various desires arise depending on various feelings. Monks, whatever slightly becomes a realm, all of that is the eighteen realms, namely the eye realm, the form realm, the eye consciousness realm, the ear realm, the sound realm, the ear consciousness realm, the nose realm, the smell realm, the nose consciousness realm, the tongue realm, the taste realm, the tongue consciousness realm, the body realm, the touch realm, the body consciousness realm, the mind realm, the dharma realm, and the consciousness realm. This is called the various realms of all realms. Monks, how do all contacts arise depending on various realms, various feelings arise depending on contact, and various desires arise depending on various feelings,
