Monks, it is good in the beginning, good in the middle, and good in the end. The meaning is good, the words are good, unmixed, completely perfect, completely pure conduct, to be clearly explained. Like this, I will explain the category of Dharma called "Ultimate Truth Emptiness," listen well and keep it in mind, and I will explain it. What is the category of Dharma called "Ultimate Truth Emptiness"? It does not arise, it does not come from anywhere; it ceases, it does not go anywhere. Monks, like this, the eye arises from not having arisen, and having arisen, it is completely destroyed. Karma exists, and the ripening exists. Except for conventional designation, there is no agent who abandons this aggregate and connects another aggregate. Therefore, conventional designation is like this: just as, because this exists, this arises; because this arises, this arises. Just as, with ignorance as the condition, there is action; with action as the condition, there is consciousness; with consciousness as the condition, there is name and form; with name and form as the condition, there are the six sense bases; with the six sense bases as the condition, there is contact; with contact as the condition, there is feeling; with feeling as the condition, there is craving; with craving as the condition, there is grasping; with grasping as the condition, there is becoming; with becoming as the condition, there is birth; with birth as the condition, there are old age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, crying, suffering, distress, and disturbance. In this way, this great mass of suffering will arise. Just as, because this does not exist, this does not arise; because this is not born, this ceases. When ignorance ceases, action ceases; when action ceases, consciousness ceases; when consciousness ceases, name and form cease; when name and form cease, the six sense bases cease; when the six sense bases cease, contact ceases; when contact ceases, feeling ceases; when feeling ceases, craving ceases; when craving ceases, grasping ceases; when grasping ceases, becoming ceases; when becoming ceases, birth ceases; when birth ceases, old age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, crying, suffering, distress, and disturbance cease. In this way, this great mass of suffering

Oh, this will cease! This is called the Dharma category of "True Meaning Emptiness." Monks, it is good in the beginning, good in the middle, good in the end, the meaning is good, the words are good, unmixed, completely perfect, completely pure, Brahmacharya, completely clear, like this, the Dharma category called "True Meaning Emptiness" should be explained, as it is said, it is explained in detail, so it is said. Initially, it is "mushy," and so on. The Blessed One traveled through the Magadha country and went to stay in the house of the Yaksha King for the night. Then the Yaksha King came to where the Blessed One was, and after coming, he bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head and sat on one side. After sitting on one side, the Yaksha King said in verse: What does life not know? What does life not understand? Where is life bound and exists? The bond of life is desire. The Blessed One said: Life does not know form, nor does it understand formations. Life is bound in this body and exists, life is the bond of desire. The Buddha said that form is not life. How does it grow here, how does it gradually form a lump, how does the body obviously grow? Initially, it is mushy, mushy becomes porridge-like, porridge-like grows into strips, strips grow into hard, from hard grow legs and feet, hair, body hair, nails, etc., tangible roots and signs, gradually grow. When the mother eats and drinks and enjoys, the person living in the womb is nourished and grows. Then the Yaksha King was very happy and rejoiced at what the Blessed One said, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, and left from the Blessed One. Like this, from the category of the Great Discourse, in the statement of the brief instruction called "Thus," it is drawn out like this: Ananda, do name and form have causes? Thus he asked.

, then answer that there is a cause. Venerable, if asked what is the cause of name and form, say that consciousness is the cause. Venerable, I have extensively explained what I have said, that consciousness is the cause of name and form. Venerable, if consciousness does not enter the mother's womb, can it appear in the coagulation of semen and blood? Monk, no. Venerable, if consciousness does not enter the mother's womb, does not transfer, can consciousness coagulate like this? Monk, no. Venerable, if the consciousness of children, adolescents, young women, and the stage of youth is cut off like this from the beginning and does not arise, can name and form grow, expand, and become vast like this? Monk, no. Venerable, if there is no consciousness in any way, can name and form be established? Monk, no. Venerable, therefore, this reason, this cause, this arising is like this: it is called consciousness as the condition for name and form. I have extensively explained what I have said, that consciousness is the condition for name and form. Just like in that sutra, it is said to the monks, monks, whatever is about dependent origination, etc., the beginning is In Shravasti. Monks, I will explain dependent origination and the dharmas of dependent origination, listen carefully and remember well, I will explain. What are the dharmas of dependent origination? Just like this, this exists, therefore that exists, this arises, therefore that arises, just like this, ignorance conditions actions, up to this complete arising. Birth conditions old age and death, whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, this is the nature of dharma, the nature of all dharmas is constantly abiding, this is known by one's own direct knowledge, and after directly realizing enlightenment, it is taught, explained, and thoroughly
