It is not fully revealed, if not, then in the formless realms, pleasant feelings would also arise, which is too much. Then, saying "it is not in those two," the "that" refers to suffering. "In those two" refers to both the form realm and the formless realm. Why not? Because there is no cause to harm others, so it is said. The causes of harming others are anger, malice, and various harms, etc. Above the desire realm, these do not exist. "Because it does not contradict generosity, etc." refers to what is said in terms of the view of the aggregation of decay. How is the view of the aggregation of decay, the ignorance that is similar and corresponding to it is also the same. By saying "etc.," it includes discipline, etc. Not contradicting is because of entering "may I be happy." The view of annihilation is also in accordance with liberation, similarly, the ignorance corresponding to it is also like this, because liberation is the nature of all aggregates being extinguished. "Precisely because of this" refers to because it is in accordance with liberation. "Because one is completely ignorant of one's own nature." It refers to the nature of the five aggregates that are taken as close, mistakenly thinking that this is me, mine, permanent, and annihilated, therefore completely ignorant. "Because it has not entered the state of harming others," what does it mean? The view of the aggregation of decay and the view of clinging to extremes are not revealed, it should be combined with the context. Attachment to the heavenly realm and the pride of "I am" etc. would also be too much in the same way, this refers to not being revealed too much. Attachment to the heavenly realm also does not contradict generosity etc., and the pride of "I am" also because one is completely ignorant of one's own nature and has not entered the state of harming others, if attachment to the heavenly realm and the pride of "I am" etc. would also not be revealed too much, then desire is also not. Deer and birds etc. also have, what is that? For example, accidentally hearing a sound becomes a cause of fright. Discrimination is unwholesome.

"Knowing" refers to being preceded by discriminating thoughts of wisdom. For example, like the views of non-Buddhists such as the Samkhya and Uluka schools. Some say that this is also unreasonable because the meaning of non-discrimination should not be abandoned by sight. The rest are unwholesome here, which is made to firmly grasp "only unwholesome." Saying "here" is to include the remainder of those who practice in the desire realm. Saying "all desire" with "all" refers to the five types, in order to comprehensively include them. Ignorance associated with the view of the perishable collection and the view of clinging to extremes is universally present, therefore it becomes the root of unwholesomeness, so it is said "which is both unwholesome and the root of unwholesomeness." If all previously generated unwholesomeness is the cause of the latter, what is the cause? Is it that only desire, hatred, and delusion are truly the roots of unwholesomeness, while other things like views are not? It should be said that any affliction that is of the nature of the five subtle increases, is not a proximate affliction, can cause actions of body and speech, is associated with the six consciousnesses, and is a cause with the power to completely cut off the roots of virtue, that alone is truly the root of unwholesomeness, and others are not. It is said: The nature of the five subtle increases, all actions of body and speech are caused, the root of purity relied upon before consciousness, cutting off all guidance is the root of unwholesomeness. It is said that the roots that are not mentioned in the scriptures, etc., are the roots of those subtle increases that are not mentioned in the scriptures. It is said that it is not so. Desire refers to activity in the form and formless realms. Ignorance refers to all that exists in the form and formless realms, and in the desire realm, it is associated with the view of the perishable collection and the view of clinging to extremes. Even that which is born from fruition is acceptable, referring to that which is associated with all afflictions in the form realm, and is associated with fruition, deportment, and emanation minds. In the formless realm, it is associated with all afflictions.
