All exist. In the peak of existence, neither exists, because there are no other realms or lands. Each of the form and formless realms, and the sum of these, are the objects. This is what is said based on the treatises, which is extensively explained as "having desire." The two views of destructible aggregates and clinging to extremes are indeed the aggregates of action that go in all unequal states, and it is unbearable, so it is extensively mentioned when residing in the desire realm. Because one does not grasp at self and what belongs to self, for those born in other lands and realms, the view that the aggregates of other lands and realms are self is unreasonable, because it is impossible to admit two bodies. If there is a self-grasping, then there will be a grasping of what belongs to self, so the view of what belongs to self is also unreasonable, because it follows the view of destructible aggregates, so the view of clinging to extremes should not have that as its object, because from wrong view comes the view of destructible aggregates, and then the view of clinging to extremes will be explained. So what view is this? If the aggregates arise with the appearance of self and permanence, but are not the view of destructible aggregates and the view of clinging to extremes, then what view is it to regard Brahma as sentient beings and as permanent? This is not a view, and so on, extensively explained. This is a wrong knowledge that is thoroughly infused by the view of destructible aggregates, not a view, because all wisdom of wrong discrimination is not considered a view. Thus, one who dwells in the desire realm does not think, "I am Brahma," "My Brahma," therefore the view of destructible aggregates does not have the higher realm as its object. It should not be the view of clinging to extremes either, because it is not the view of destructible aggregates, because it is caused by the view of destructible aggregates. There is no other view with that kind of appearance. What arises together with those? Etc., extensively explained, the feelings and so on that arise together with the subtle aggregates of action, and birth and so on, whatever those dharmas are, those are also aggregates of action, because they and the fruit are the same. Although they arise together with the subtle aggregates of action, they are not obtained.

Because those and the fruit are not one. Previously, in the second chapter of the Abhidharmakośa, it was said that the fruit and the Vipāka fruit and the Niṣyanda fruit are not one. The so-called "because of that" means that because all things that arise together are also established as pervasive, therefore, four categories should be made. The first category is the pervasive subtle matter of the future. These are pervasive because they are its nature, but the cause of pervasiveness is not a cause. The second category is the co-arising phenomena of the past and present, which refers to the pervasive and co-arising feelings, etc., and birth, etc. These are the cause of pervasiveness, but not the pervasive subtle matter, because they are empty of the nature of subtle matter. The third and fourth categories should be combined. The third category is the pervasive subtle matter of the past and present. These are both pervasive subtle matter and the cause of pervasiveness. The fourth category is the future phenomena that arise together with those, and other dharmas, which are neither pervasive subtle matter nor the cause of pervasiveness. "Cessation and the path, what is abandoned by seeing, wrong view, doubt, and those" etc. will appear. The so-called "ignorance that corresponds to those" refers to what corresponds to those, namely wrong view and doubt, and the unmixed ignorance, which is the subtle matter of ignorance, which is one. In this way, those that take the realm and the undefiled in the realm as their object are six, so they will become eighteen. It is said that it takes the undefiled as its object, but it is not said what kind of undefiled it takes as its object, therefore, it is said "the cessation of one's own ground" etc. This is to say that it is the cessation of the afflictions etc. of one's own ground, but the cessation of one's own ground is not there at all, therefore it is said in this way from the perspective of what is to be refuted. The so-called "the object of its practice" refers to those such as wrong view, where cessation and the path are the object of practice, because they are the object of focus, so those are it.

are the objects of practice. From then on, in order, the objects of practice of the three are: the object of focus is the cessation of one's own realm, that is, the cessation of one's own ground, and the objects of the three are the path that is in accordance with the Dharma-knowing aspect of the six grounds, and the path that is in accordance with the subsequent-knowing aspect of the nine grounds, which should be combined with things like wrong views. Regarding "six grounds": the six grounds are the four dhyanas, the state of no-thing-ness, and the special dhyana. Regarding "in accordance with the Dharma-knowing aspect": the path of suffering, etc., in the desire realm is said to be in accordance with the Dharma-knowing aspect. Regarding "everything is": saying everything is for the purpose of including the Dharma-knowing aspect, which is also the antidote to the form and formless realms, which is also a sign of the sixth ground. That is why it is said that "it is also the antidote to the form and formless realms." If you ask: how is it the antidote to the form and formless realms? Answer: In the path of cultivation there is cessation, In the path there is Dharma-knowing, It is the enemy of the three realms. It will be said like this. The eight grounds that are practiced in the form and formless realms are (the antidote) to wrong views, etc. The eight grounds are the four dhyanas and the four formless realms. Regarding "nine grounds," it is from the ground of no-thing-ness to the ground of neither perception nor non-perception. Regarding "everything," it is the antidote path of the form and formless realms. Again, why is it that the object of focus of those who have these as their objects of practice is only their own realm, and the path is the sixth ground or the ninth ground, which are also the objects of those? To this, the reason is shown by saying: the path is the cause of each other. The path of no-thing-ness is the cause by the equal share of the cause from the ground of no-thing-ness to the ground of neither perception nor non-perception, as it is said: The path of the nine grounds is mutually, Equal and special causes. It is like this saying. Like this, if one slanders any one of the sixth or ninth grounds, it will become as if one has slandered everything; if one does not doubt or is ignorant of one, one will become doubtful or ignorant of everything. In that case, then the mindfulness aspect is in accordance with
