That which is called "Na" means that the share of merit is the share of merit, and one obtains the desired fruit. That is its meaning. Corresponding to that, it is corresponding to the share of merit. Precisely because of that, it is said, "Whatever is the ripening one with desirable qualities." Corresponding to the share of liberation is that which, wherever it is born, becomes a dharma nature that is completely liberated from suffering. If it is said, "It exists," how is it to be understood? Therefore, it is said, "For whom the faults of samsara, etc." Because it is not present in all that is heard, merely speaking of the faults of samsara, etc., is what is called "empty talk," and is the cause of "stirring up tears." For example, because everything does not sprout, summer is merely the cause of sprouting. Relying on liberation, it is therefore the share of liberation, and corresponding to that, it is corresponding to the share of liberation. Corresponding to the share of ascertainment is what is called the four types, such as becoming warm. Ascertainment refers to the noble path, and corresponding to that are those that correspond to the share of ascertainment. It will be explained below, starting from the sixth place of the Abhidharmakosha, where it says, "Having become warm, that is the realm of the four truths." "The world" will be explained extensively, because this is the occasion indicated from here, and because these are also the nature of karma, so it is asked what the nature of these is. What is called "having intention" refers to being together with arousal, which is having intention. And what is that? It is the collection of mind and mental factors. Letters are not alphabets, but what karma causes them to be written, that is the alphabet. What is carved on, such as jewels and horns, etc., that is also not a measure, but what karma of the body performs the carving, that is the measure. Letters and carvings are adding the cause to the effect, so they become letters and measures. What is called "What is it that summarizes the laws of the mind" refers to the defiled and undefiled, counting like one, two, three. Because there is no form aggregate, it is the nature of the four aggregates. Because it is the occasion of karma, it is

It is said to be the categories of the aggregates. In order to avoid confusion, the Abhidharma shows those categories of phenomena that arise, such as afflicted dharmas, excellent dharmas, and dharmas to be relied upon. The term "with fault" means that it is to be blamed. Because it is obscured by afflictions, it is an obstacle to the path of liberation, so it is obscured. Because it is abandoned by the noble ones, or because its maturation is bad, it is bad. The term "excellent" means that it is extremely pure. What is other than bad and excellent is established as "intermediate," that is, those are also wholesome with outflows and those that are un-obscured and un-specified. As for "conditioned virtue should be relied upon," both with outflows and without outflows should be relied upon without distinction, and should be relied upon from the point of view of acting on the continuum. As for "the rest are not to be relied upon," those are the afflicted, the un-obscured and un-specified, and the unconditioned. The reason for "not being able to be accustomed to" is because there is no distinction. Nirvana cannot be manifested again and again, so it cannot be accustomed to. Any dharma that arises again and again in the continuum is said to be relied upon, like the path. If it is relied upon for the sake of the fruit, then the unconditioned is not to be relied upon because it has no fruit. The unspecified are also the same, because they have no fruit they are not to be relied upon, and the afflictions are because the fruit is undesirable. The term "all others are with the supreme" means that they are with excellence, and those are all conditioned phenomena, as well as space and non-analytical cessation. Liberation is unsurpassed. The term "unsurpassed" means that it cannot be surpassed. From this unsurpassed to unsurpassed, therefore, it is said that there is nothing more excellent than Nirvana. For example, monks, among all conditioned or unconditioned phenomena, the most excellent is said to be the dharma of detachment.
