Nor is it a son or a lord fruit. Nor are virtuous conditioned things a separation fruit, because separation is unconditioned. Since maturation is unindicated, it is said that apart from the maturation fruit. There are two unwholesome things: the Puruṣakāra fruit and the Lord fruit. Among them, the Puruṣakāra fruit is that which arises from its power. The Lord fruit is other than what previously arose. All unwholesome dharmas themselves are. There is no causal correspondence fruit, because they are dissimilar. There is also no maturation fruit, because it is afflicted. There is also no separation fruit, because it is conditioned and afflicted. There are three unindicated things: other than the causal correspondence and separation fruits. Thus, unindicated things are not the same as virtuous causal correspondence fruits, and there is no separation fruit, because the separation fruit is a virtuous unconditioned thing. The maturation fruit is the agreeable maturation belonging to itself. The Puruṣakāra fruit is: those that arise from its power, such as those that arise subsequently. The Lord fruit is all unindicated things except what previously arose. The fruit of unwholesome karma is explained in detail as follows: The Puruṣakāra fruit is all the virtuous dharmas that arise subsequently. The Lord fruit is all virtuous dharmas except what previously arose. There is no causal correspondence fruit, because they are dissimilar. Since maturation is unindicated,

Because it is conditioned and because it is compounded. The statement "the indeterminate is four" refers to the exclusion of the result of separation. Separation is because virtue is constant. The result of maturation refers to the unpleasant result of maturation that belongs to one's own category. If only similar dharmas are the result of the same cause of those previously born, then how can dissimilar indeterminate dharmas be said to be the result of the same cause of non-virtuous dharmas after abandoning that? Therefore, the term "indeterminate" is explained in detail. The result of the same cause is established as being the result of pervasive causes and equal-part causes. Although the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes are indeterminate, because they are similar in being afflictive and abandoned by seeing suffering, there is no contradiction in establishing them as the result of the same cause of the pervasive cause abandoned by seeing suffering and the equal-part cause abandoned by seeing suffering. The statement "action is indeterminate" is explained in detail. The result of the agent is those virtuous dharmas that arise subsequently. The dominant result is all virtuous dharmas except those that arose previously. There is no result of the same cause because they are dissimilar. There is also no result of maturation because it is virtuous. There is also no result of separation because it is conditioned. The statement "non-virtue is three" refers to including the result of the same cause. Non-virtue is also the result of indeterminate dharmas, for example, non-virtuous dharmas cause beings of the five destinies to include the result of the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes. Non-virtue is also the result of indeterminate dharmas in the same way. The statement "indeterminate dharmas are three, only these" refers to the fact that the result of the agent is those dharmas that arise simultaneously and subsequently. The dominant result is all dharmas except those that arose previously. The result of the same cause is those similar dharmas that arise later. The result of maturation and the result of separation.
