Because it belongs to the category of "I" and so on. The former teachers refer to the early Sautrāntikas. What is directly seen by the eye is called "seeing," which is not by the five senses. In this way, it will be said to be different from the view just mentioned. What is heard by the ear and what comes from others is called "hearing," and both are considered to be direct perception. What is thought by oneself is called "cognition," which refers to reasoning through scripture and logic. In this way, these two terms can be related to all six objects. What is individually and correctly known and realized by oneself is called "consciousness," where individually and correctly knowing refers to happiness and so on. Realization is through the worldly path, such as supernormal powers and so on. Here, the realization of the supramundane path is not included, because this is the context of worldly language. "If the body can make others understand other meanings," this is asked because it is about liars. "If it is done through speech," here only non-revealing form is the actual path, not revealing form. "If it is done through the body," here also only non-revealing form is the actual path of action. "Two transgressions" refer to the transgression of the body and the transgression of speech. "The sages are extremely angry in their hearts," although the sages do not do it with body and speech, they possess the transgression of the body and the transgression of speech. "Take the Uposatha as an example," although the action of the Uposatha is not done through both, because the transgression is not confessed, it will be touched by the transgression of lying. "If not doing" refers to what is said up to "not seeking and not combining." "If neither is done" will be explained in detail. In this way, just like meditation and the vows of non-outflow, if the path of action depends only on the mind, then it would follow that in the desire realm, non-revealing form does not exist without revealing form. "Acting in the desire realm" means

That is what distinguishes it from non-manifest form, which is meditation and without outflows. How do these two become paths of action? They belong to the sages and monks. The teacher, Dusang, said that the sages are actually making manifestations, because non-human beings realize that they have begun to abandon their unwholesome thoughts towards sentient beings, and therefore develop faith in them. Because of this, the sages create the path of action with their bodies. Furthermore, for an angry person, there will inevitably be movement of body and speech at that time, so there is no contradiction. As for the Uposatha, just as the meaning is understood through words, the movement of the body is also the arising of the path of action of speech. Similarly, we should think that the venerable ones are completely purified. If one does not speak and does not move, it is also the same. For the meaning to be understood through words, even if one does not speak, the path of action of speech will arise, because when one is not completely purified, not speaking will make oneself understand as pure, they say. Another view is that the non-manifest form of the desire realm is not necessarily dependent on manifest form, such as the arising of the Pratimoksha vows in the sutras where the five classes and others attain fruition, because of craving. Therefore, unwholesome actions may also be merely non-manifest form, they say. Enough is enough. Slander is for the purpose of distinguishing others. Regarding the term "of the afflicted mind," the essence of slander is slander. What is that? It is speech for the purpose of distinguishing others, and because it possesses it, it is also called possessing slander. Regarding the term "of the afflicted mind," it means not for the benefit of others. Regarding "flatterer," flattery means speaking pleasing words in order to obtain gain. It is not a path of action, it is said. If asked, what is a joke that is not a path of action? The answer is that at that time, the desire of sentient beings is small, so manifest form cannot be guided by non-manifest form, and there is no path of action of non-manifest form. "All afflictions are jokes." It means, the afflicted one.
