This meaning of action should be proven by inference, not by direct perception. As for "it is said," what is said? It is without cause, because it is not an action, just like being completely non-existent. As for "like birth," birth itself is existence, and it is considered to be related to cause and effect, whether it is a momentary or non-momentary formation. Similarly, if the destruction of everything also becomes related to cause and effect, it is also unreasonable, because the time of the cause of destruction is uncertain, therefore, the time of destruction of momentary things such as mind, sound, and flame will also become uncertain. Therefore, just like mind and other things, it should be completely admitted that there is no cause. As for "because two minds do not meet," because when the previous mind exists, the later mind does not exist, then how can something that does not exist become the cause of the destruction of the previous mind? When the later mind exists, the previous mind has already disappeared, then how can something that has already disappeared become the cause of destruction? If it is thought that when the later mind exists, the previous mind still exists, then "doubt and certain knowledge" are mentioned. Sound should also be said in the same way. When the ends of clear mind and sound and other things successively appear, and so on, will occur. What is it like in the end? Because there are no other minds and sounds. The statement "anything that exists is without cause" will be widely elaborated. The teacher Palden thinks that for beings, existence is without cause, therefore, existence itself is the cause of destruction. In response to this, "non-existence should not be a cause," because it is not a thing. Therefore, this is not the cause of destruction. As for "due to Dharma and non-Dharma," Dharma relies on benefit, just like the flame of a butter lamp is the cause of arising, and non-Dharma relies on harm, and is the cause of destruction. The causes of arising and destruction, Dharma and non-Dharma, should also not be considered to enter, obtain, and obstruct moment by moment. In order to benefit beings, by obstructing non-Dharma, Dharma can enter.

attainment, the flames of lamps will arise, and in order to harm beings, obstructing Dharma, it is possible to enter through non-Dharma, and it will enter. Similarly, for non-Dharma, it should also be stated in the opposite way. These two, arising and ceasing, also exist in each moment, and if the powerful obstruct the weak, then the causes of the powerful and weak in Dharma and non-Dharma are not present in each moment. If, because of weakness, Dharma obstructs non-Dharma, but in that very moment, is non-Dharma itself powerful? From where again does non-Dharma obstruct Dharma, how could Dharma become weak? Therefore, this is difficult to establish even with complete examination. The complete examination of causes, that is, the characteristic of Dharma and non-Dharma attaining entry and obstruction, this is effective for all conditioned phenomena. Therefore, it can be established that all conditioned phenomena are not momentary, because they do not depend on causes of destruction other than Dharma and non-Dharma. Therefore, there is no need to argue. Regarding the statement that "the cause also becomes the destroyer," from the meeting of the thing to be dyed and the substance that dyes, the earlier and earlier cease, and from the dyer gradually arising the later and later things, dyeing and more dyeing, and the most dyeing occurring are seen. If it is thought that when the most dyeing occurs, the dyeing is destroyed due to contact with fire, then if the cause itself becomes the destroyer, then all things that arise solely from the dyer, are from that itself without substance, this statement is also unreasonable, because different times cannot be established as the same cause. Why? Because it would fall into the contradiction of existing and not existing simultaneously. As it is said: "From one, different times are not, like seed and sprout and so on, wet and non-wet, cold and hot, when molasses hardens, the time is different.". If someone thinks that fire is momentary, so the producer is different and the destroyer is different, then, again, the cause fire will become without difference, thus it is said, the result
