It is because of reliance. In this way, the differences between the three will also be shown. Mind is the action of mind. Here, the nature of the action of mind is explained, but the actions of body and speech are not the actions of speech, therefore, it is said, "These are manifestation and non-manifestation." As it is said in the sutra: What is the action of the body? Answer: The manifestation and non-manifestation of the body. What is the action of speech? Answer: The manifestation and non-manifestation of speech. The meaning of the word "ni" is that only those manifestations and non-manifestations are, but the action of mind is not, this is to grasp the meaning with certainty. Also, why is the action of mind not considered to be the nature of manifestation and non-manifestation? Because it is not their nature. If it is said that the mind that can completely arise by itself is knowable, therefore it is called manifestation, then the mind does not have that nature, so the mind is not manifestation. If it is said that non-manifestation is when the elements that produce it change, it arises relying on other elements, then the virtuous mind cannot tolerate arising relying on afflicted and indeterminate minds when the mind that completely arises in that way changes. Therefore, the mind is also not non-manifestation. Because of the power of the ripening wind, the shape of the body will also change in that way, so it is said in detail, "The power of the mind." The manifestation of the body is only shape, but the manifestation of the body is not only shape, precisely because of this, it is said, "The power of the mind." Also, why are color and the elements not manifestations? Because they are completely indeterminate. Others say that walking is the manifestation of the body. The action of the body is the activity of the body, that is the movement of the body, only the moving body is reasonable, the non-moving body is unreasonable, so the manifestation of the body is only walking, not shape. If it is said like this, then the saying "Why are moving and non-moving created" will appear. The sound of an instant
