Her body is her body. If a wanderer or another virtuous person has a mind that displeases her body, or a mind of her husband or son, etc., that is her husband or son, etc. The word "etc." includes daughters, etc. The mind that focuses on them is the mind that focuses on her husband and son, etc. If she or another is born after a woman, and later, in another time, a woman's mind arises from the cycle of existence, then the woman's mind that arises later is the mind that displeases her body, having the power to generate a mind that displeases the woman's body, or having the power to generate a mind of her husband or son, etc. Why? Because it is of her kind. Saying "because it is of her kind" means that because there is a kind or seed of a mind that displeases her body, or a mind of her husband or son, etc., in this, it is of her kind. Her object is herself, thinking that it is because it is of the same kind as her. Otherwise, it is said to be not of her kind. Or, from the woman's mind in sequence, which is said to be extensive, not at once, but in sequence, from the woman's mind also arises a mind that displeases her body, from that arises the mind of her husband, from that arises the mind of her son, and from herself also arises a mind of displeasure, etc. Then, among the minds that arise after the woman's mind, the one that is most numerous in continuity, most clear in ability, and closest to the mind to be generated, that mind alone will arise. "Because it is endowed with the power of her habituation" means that the most numerous, or the most clear, or the closest, is endowed with power because of her habituation. The extensive explanation of "her temporal body," etc., means that what dwells closely at that time is her temporal part, which is the difference in the conditions of the body. Apart from this, it is driving. It means that whatever external condition of the body, such as being struck by a stick, dwells closely, that itself will arise. The habituation of that is the most powerful.

Then, what is said to be the most numerous, the most clear, and the most immediate need, and which is endowed with power? If it does not produce results, what is the reason? (The answer is:) Because the change of the state of existence itself is the characteristic of conditioned phenomena. The characteristic mentioned here is the characteristic of changing from the state of existence to another state. This is because of its essence. The characteristic of conditioned phenomena changing to another state is also to conform to the production of the fruit of other needs. Therefore, it does not always produce the same result. The phrase "it is said" refers to what was said by the Vinaya holder Rāhula. "All forms" refers to all forms, like the colors and arrangements of peacock feathers, etc. Among these various forms, the color is like this, the arrangement is like that, and the luster is like this, etc. It is impossible to fully understand the changes of these forms. Who cannot understand? Those who are not omniscient, such as Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, cannot understand. Knowing these is the power of omniscience. The meaning of what is said here is, who can accomplish the action of understanding its cause? If someone thinks like this. (Then,) for the distinctions of non-material consciousness, what need is there to mention them? The meaning of what is said here is, if even the cause of material things cannot be understood, then what need is there to mention non-material things? The so-called heretics refer to the Vaiśeṣika school. If it is said, because it depends on the difference of the combination with the mind? The meaning of what is said here is, if it is thought that although the arising of consciousness seems to arise from the self, it sometimes depends on the difference of the combination with the mind, therefore, consciousness will not always produce exactly the same result as before, nor will it arise in a certain order like sprouts, trunks, and leaves, etc., if it is thought like this, then it is not correct, because the relationship is not different. The meaning of what is said here is, it is not like that. Why? Because from the self and the mind, no other relationship is established, and the so-called relationship does not have a separately established entity. For things that arise dependently, they will transform into the wisdom that encounters them, because without grasping them, there will be no such wisdom, just like sound and
