If asked, what is the object of focus, the person? Is it focused on solely by that which is focused on? Or by something else? If it is said that it is solely by that, then the person is not different in nature from sound, or it will be affixed only to sound, this is sound. How can it be completely determined that "this is a person"? If it cannot be completely determined in that way, then sound also exists, and the person also exists, how can this be asserted? It is only asserted that it exists by virtue of being focused on. This approach should also be applied to the intervals between dharmas. If it is said that it is by something else, then because it is focused on at different times, it will become different from form, like blue and yellow. The so-called complete determination means that when blue is focused on, yellow is not focused on. Later, it is focused on by another focus, so that yellow is known to be different from blue. Similarly, the person also becomes different from form because it is focused on by another focus. Similarly, it should be exemplified by saying that one moment is not another moment. Similarly, it should also be stated about the intervals between dharmas, how is that? If it is said that it is by something else, then because it is focused on at different times, it will become different from sound, like the sound of a large drum and the sound of an earthenware drum, and like one moment and another moment, it should be stated as before. If it is said that it appears in detail like form and person, if it is said that it is not possible to state that form and person are not different, similarly, it is not possible to state that their objects of focus are not different, if it is said that way, then therefore the nature of those objects of focus, even conditioned phenomena cannot be stated, therefore the established tenet that only the person cannot be stated will be lost, because even conditioned phenomena cannot be stated. If it is also said "this exists", it is not possible to state "this is not forms". Then why did the Bhagavan say that form is not self, up to consciousness is not self? As it is said, as it is said, form is not self, and I am not form.

That, as it is said, the person is only what can be said, and what cannot be said is not, this is what is to be shown. If it arises relying on forms, then like sounds and so on, one cannot know the person, this is to say: the person is not seen by the consciousness of form, because it arises from other objects of perception, like sound. The word 'etc.' here is like smell. Taste and so on should also be added. Similarly, it should be said that this is not seen by the consciousness of the ear and so on. This is the thesis. With this close approximation, it should be understood that it refutes the fault of the thesis that returns from the difference of the subject. Relying on two, it is said to rely on two, but not to arise relying on three. Bhikshu, the cause for generating the consciousness of the eye is the eye, this is extensively explained, the near one is the cause, the far one is the condition. Some say that what generates is the cause, and the condition is only the object of perception. Others say that these two are synonyms. The person is different from form, because it can be known by the consciousness of the ear, like sound. Similarly, the person is different from sound, because it can be known by the consciousness of the eye, like form. Similarly, others should also be added, how to add? The person is different from form and sound, because it can be known by the consciousness of the nose, like smell, this is like the thesis. Because it is said that each one's field of activity and object are what is experienced. What is said is that the person is not what is experienced. The root of mind is the basis of these, this is just a side note, this is not an example. Even so, the mind is the basis of these roots, this is to say that relying on it, the cause of the arising of consciousness. Or, the person would become a non-object, if the Sutra Pitaka is taken as a valid source.

Oh. Then what will happen? If it is said, "It is not an object," if it is not the object of any consciousness, then it will become not knowable. Therefore, it will contradict the tenet that "the person is knowable by the six consciousnesses." The person-speaker said, if it is like this, because it says in the sutra, "It is not the experience of the object and the realm of others," therefore, taking the five senses such as the eye as the measure, because one's own realm is not mistaken, if the person is not knowable by the eye consciousness, etc., then the mind sense will also become without error, because the sutra extensively says, "These six senses have different realms." Some say that the six kinds of creatures, dogs, birds, foxes, and crocodiles that kill children, snakes, and monkeys, etc., are tied to pillars or tree roots, and they like villages, the sky, tombs, water, anthills, and forests, because they like their respective realms and objects, similarly, these six senses also like their respective realms and objects. If, even though there is a sutra text, the mind sense is still mistaken, then the senses such as the eye will also become mistaken. Therefore, if the person is knowable by the eye consciousness, etc., then here it is said in detail, "There it is not said that the sense is only the sense." In the sutra like the six kinds of creatures, it is not said that the senses such as the eye are only the senses. Why? Because it is impossible for the five senses such as the eye to be considered as seeing, etc. Like this, it is impossible to consider these as seeing and hearing, etc., because they are the nature of form. Their consciousness, the eye consciousness, etc., cannot be considered as seeing, etc., because there is no discrimination. The mind consciousness led by them is said to be the sense. Then, how is it known that it is led by them? If
