It is said that with self-grasping in the mind, the cycle of birth and death will not cease. If there is a view of self, the clinging to self in the heart will not waver. Because there is no other teacher who speaks of the selflessness of beings, therefore there is no other path to rely on and practice your doctrine. This is what is said. Those who practice this, such as the Sakhya and Owl schools, do not have liberation, because they cling to the inverted view of self, like those who have not seen the true reality. Therefore, the sun-like Buddha, with the light of dependent origination, shines extremely brightly, and through the non-distracted yoga of selflessness, thoroughly cultivating, one will abandon the inverted view of self. If this wisdom is not eliminated, there will be no liberation. Even if the Joyful Son is at the peak of the three realms, having attained it, he will fall from there, becoming the lord of the Thirty-Three, and in the end, he will fall into hell. Those with wisdom, cutting through the various nets of evil views, with the sword of wisdom, sharpened on the whetstone of the words of the Sugata, will see selflessness. If one wants to fathom the depths of the peaceful Nirvana, like a pool of cool water, while Soga wanders in suffering, scorched by the intense rays of the sun, feeling the pain of the body inwardly, like finding a boil, the existence and attachment arising from birth and death. Since the self cannot be transformed, even if the iron hail of painful feelings, like hail falling from the sky, descends, it cannot diminish from its own nature, so how can there be harm? Therefore, it is said, how can there be harm to the permanent? Without harm, how can there be liberation? Therefore, for what is permanent, liberation is impossible for it. The suffering of existence burns like fire, they think they will be burned, feel weary, and then be liberated from desire. Because this is without harm, when one does not know the touch of the fire of suffering, how can one understand from where to be liberated, and separation from the desire born of existence? Therefore, these foolish heretics, like a burning pile of coals, possessing the hail of the rain of desire, from the gathered mountain, when piercing the sky, they will feel pain, therefore.

If these afflictions are established as causeless hatred, then who would not become an object of compassion? Afflictions arise from clinging to self. As it is said in the scriptures, some ascetics or Brahmins in the world hold various different views, and these views are caused by observing the aggregates. If there is attachment to self, then afflictions such as attachment to self will arise, and for those who are attached to self, where will liberation be? The so-called manifestation of self is only for the continuity of the aggregates. Saying "I" is the manifestation of self, it is the imputation of self. What is to be expressed is not something else, but the imputation that is different from the continuity of the aggregates. Why is this so? Because there is no direct perception and inference. Here it is mentioned that there is no direct perception and inference, meaning that they think that without direct perception and inference, it cannot be established. The scriptures are included in inference, so they are not explained separately. As it is said: In the inference arising from sound, it is not another measure, just like birds, etc., in their own meaning, appear as eliminating others. It's like saying that. Are those existing dharmas without obstacles? They are directly perceived, that is, there are no very near or very far situations that can hinder perception. For example, the six objects, namely the birthplaces of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the nature of the birthplaces of dharmas, such as feelings, and the realm of yogis and the realm beyond realization. What is meant by mind? It is directly perceived. The mind that has just stopped, without the subsequent mind arising immediately, without attachment arising, or corresponding to happiness, or corresponding to suffering, and so on. Others say that they observe through their own reasoning, etc. These two kinds of direct perception are the object and the subject. Or through inference, here it is said extensively that where direct perception cannot enter, inference is used.
