It is extensively stated that it transforms. If asked, what are the five dharmas that, if one is cultivated, will become complete? The answer is: inner joy, delight, extreme pliancy, bliss, and samadhi. Cultivating these five dharmas will lead to completion. This is stated up to the middle. Therefore, it is said that extreme pliancy is mentioned here, and bliss is also mentioned, so extreme pliancy and bliss are different. Therefore, it should be known that in the first two dhyanas, there is only extreme pliancy, not bliss. If asked, how does the body consciousness arise when entering into equipoise? The answer is: if they accept that all the senses of bliss belong to the body, then the body consciousness should not arise at all when entering into equipoise, because it is looking outward, and two consciousnesses cannot arise simultaneously. Therefore. What is called 'born from the distinction of samadhi' is that the distinction of samadhi is the third dhyana, and what is born from it is born from the distinction of samadhi. What is called 'extreme pliancy' is that it is called extreme pliancy because it makes the body supple. What is called 'will experience bliss' is the object of bliss. What is called 'increasing in the body' is pervading the body. The arising of body consciousness when entering into equipoise is like that. If asked, if samadhi is lost due to external distraction? The answer is: no. By its power, samadhi will be manifested. Therefore, it is extensively stated that it is born from samadhi, because the bliss that is the cause of samadhi arises within the body, so there is no external distraction, and that bliss is in accordance with samadhi, so if it manifests, samadhi will not be lost. If asked, when the body consciousness arises, will one rise from the seat? The answer is: although that body consciousness is in accordance with equipoise, it is only non-equipoise, so the consciousness of equipoise ceases, and the body consciousness of non-equipoise arises, so one will rise from the seat.

It is called "transformation." The reason for saying "for that" is that the body's consciousness does not arise when it is born. The body's pleasure arising within the body from samadhi is said to be "for that" because it is in accordance with samadhi, which is for what was just said. If it is said that "the body's root that walks in the desire realm" will appear widely, then the body's root that walks in the desire realm does not refer to the extremely tamed that walks in the form realm, nor is it the object of touch, and the consciousness that takes it as its object cannot be relied upon, because the sutra says, "The three are all their own places." No, because the extremely tamed consciousness will arise. The body's root that walks in the desire realm, with the name of extremely tamed that walks in the form realm, only holds touch, not other places, so there is no fault. It is called "will also become without outflows," which means that in the meditation without outflows, both touch and body consciousness will also become without outflows. Why? Because one part has outflows and one part does not, which is not possible. Also, how can touch and body consciousness be limbs? Those two are not said to be limbs, so what are they said to be? It is said to be happiness, and those two are said to be without outflows because they are in accordance with it and are its objects. The body's extreme tameness is also said to be a limb of perfect enlightenment, and the limbs of enlightenment are all without outflows, so they are also considered to be without outflows. Because it is in accordance with the limbs of enlightenment, it is said that extreme tameness is a limb of enlightenment, but not in a real way. The absence of outflows itself is also the same, because it is in accordance with the absence of outflows, it is without outflows, but not in a real way. It contradicts the sutra "How many eyes, how many forms, how many eye consciousnesses, and so on, how many bodies, how many touches, how many body consciousnesses," because both touch and body consciousness are
