If that is the case, then how does the divine eye know the misdeeds of speech and mind, as well as good deeds, or the non-form nature associated with them? To answer this question, it is said, 'That cannot be known by it,' meaning the divine eye cannot know. Then what can know? It is 'becoming the realm of supernormal knowledge,' and so on. This 'that' refers to the misdeeds of speech and mind, and so on, as well as a part of the aggregate of formation. And 'the rest' refers to the recollection of past lives and the supernormal knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements. For the time being, the recollection of past lives is focused on form, mind, and mental events, so it depends on the nature of the four mindfulnesses. Then how is the supernormal knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements mindfulness? Because it is focused on cessation. If it is said to be focused on the aspect of cessation, then it is only the mindfulness of dharma; if it is the aspect of the continuum of the one who has exhausted defilements, then it is the four mindfulnesses, so there is no contradiction. These, when distinguished by goodness, etc., are: The supernormal knowledge of the eye and ear, is not specified, the rest are good. If it is wisdom associated with eye and ear consciousness, then how is it established in the fourth dhyana ground? Wisdom associated with eye and ear consciousness does not have the ground of the second dhyana, etc. 'Depending on the support,' etc., is explained in detail there in 'The five are all in the four dhyanas.' Depending on the support, the supernormal knowledge of the eye and ear, which relies on the support, is also said to be the fourth dhyana ground. That support is the support of supernormal knowledge. Or it is due to the power of the path of no interval, that is, or that part associated with eye and ear consciousness, even if it is the nature of the wisdom of the path of liberation of the first dhyana ground, but depending on the power of the path of no interval of the second, third, and fourth dhyana grounds, it is the nature of the second dhyana ground, etc., because that is produced after the path of no interval of the second dhyana ground, etc. The main thing refers to the good dharmas such as magical powers.
