"Is the ground initially past or not?" This is called, from the first moment, until not completely liberated from nirvana, it possesses the non-manifestation of the past and the future. "This is the difference" is called the first, in the moment of the forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering, it does not possess the non-manifestation of the past. Why? Because in the beginning and the non-possessing samsara, the previous path has not arisen. "The Samadhi Noble Path dwells in those two" is called, dwelling in the path of Samadhi, that is, dwelling in the worldly path of the path of Samadhi, and dwelling in the Noble Path, is dwelling in the Samadhi Noble Path, which is the collective term for the two possessing meditation and undefiled discipline. Here it should be known that dwelling in the Noble Path is like entering a boat, entering the Noble Path. For example, someone enters a boat, he is not dwelling on the boat, just as someone enters the Noble Path and enters equally, he is dwelling in the Noble Path. Those standing are not. Why? Because they do not possess the present, the two are following the mind. Previously it was said to possess, now it is said to manifest. "Whoever is neither discipline nor non-discipline, dwelling in that is dwelling in the middle" is called, that is, someone who is neither a monk nor a fisherman, he is dwelling in the middle. "Collected by immoral precepts and the limbs of precepts, etc." is called, the limbs of immoral precepts are killing, etc. The limbs of precepts are abandoning them. The sound of "etc." includes prostrating to stupas, etc. Dwelling in non-discipline is because dwelling in non-virtuous Dharma; dwelling in discipline is because dwelling in virtuous Dharma, the reverse is possible, thinking whether it is possible, so it is said "Whoever sometimes dwells in non-discipline", called this, how long do the two follow, called this, is the power of great joy and afflictions. Those non-manifestations are also, called this, are virtue and non-virtue. In other places, called this, are the second moment, etc.

Tu'o. Regarding the statement "The non-manifesting form of the future does not correspond with anyone," why is that? Because it does not follow the mind. And with the past dharmas, this means that it is not only that it does not correspond with the future dharmas alone. The term "weak dharma" is an extensive explanation, because the attainment that arises simultaneously with it is weak. No matter what causes it to cease, because it will correspond with manifesting form, it cannot lead to other attainments. Then, regarding the obscured and neutral mind, and the word "also," this is an extensive explanation. If the attainment of the obscured manifesting form is weak, and not subsequently related, then the attainment of the obscured mind that provokes it will also not be subsequently related. What is said, "the attainment of the mind will also not be subsequently related," is not so, because manifesting form is without an object, therefore it is foolish, and it depends on the mind. If it is under the control of others, the mind can be reversed, therefore it is foolish in that way, and if it is not under the control of others, the neutral mind, being weak, what it provokes will become very weak. Non-restraint and misconduct, etc., this is an extensive explanation, misconduct is blameworthy conduct. How is it blameworthy? Because it is blamed by the noble ones, it is blamed because of their intention and unpleasant results. Because it is included by substance and becomes the path of thought, it is a path of action. Dwelling in the intermediate state, with a weak mind, if acting, it only possesses manifesting form. Regarding this statement, mentioning dwelling in the intermediate state is to exclude dwelling in vows and non-vows, because those dwelling in vows and non-vows will inevitably correspond with non-manifesting forms. The term "weak mind" is to exclude a strong mind, because a person with a strong mind, when doing good and non-good, will provoke non-manifesting forms. What need is there to mention the neutral? This statement is connected with "if acting." Except for the substantial path of action of meritorious deeds arising from matter.
