Just as it is for those born in Avīci, so it is for those born at the peak of existence. To be perfectly accomplished by the accumulation of previous merit and wisdom is to be perfectly accomplished by the accumulation of merit and the accumulation of wisdom of the Buddhas themselves in the past. Accumulation is accumulation. Or, because all virtuous deeds, the cause of Buddhahood itself, are accumulated by this, it is called accumulation. The term "etcetera" is a synonym for completely gathering. The so-called "perfect accomplishment of the Dharmakāya" is that the Dharmakāya is the continuous stream of undefiled Dharma, or the complete transformation of the state. The so-called "performing the benefit of the world" is that the benefit of the world is the cause of higher realms and liberation. Accomplishing this is performing the benefit, because the great compassion of the Buddhas is equal in performing the benefit of others. The so-called "as is the time" is connected to everything. How is it connected? The so-called "for the sake of extremely long and short life" is like this: when the lifespan of beings is eighty thousand years, the lifespan of the Buddha is also eighty thousand years; when the lifespan of beings is one hundred years, the lifespan of the Buddha also becomes one hundred years. As is the time, the difference between the royal caste and the Brahmin caste is that when the world respects the royal caste, the royal caste appears; when the world respects the Brahmins, the Brahmins appear. As is the time, the difference between the clans of Kāśyapa and Śākya, etc., is that when in the world, whichever clan becomes most worthy of offering, one is born into that clan. As is the time, the difference in the size of the body is that when the body size is small in the world, the body size of the Buddha is small; when the body size is not small in the world, the body size of the Buddha is not small. The so-called "only these three aspects" refers to what was just said, the cause of the equality of the Buddhas, namely the perfection of the cause, the perfection of the result, and the perfection of benefit. To be perfectly accomplished by previous merit and wisdom shows the perfection of the cause. To be perfectly accomplished by the Dharmakāya shows the perfection of the result.

And, in terms of conduct, it is the perfection of benefiting and assisting. In the practice of all accumulations of merit and wisdom, the mention of merit and wisdom is to summarize the five perfections, such as generosity, as appropriate. The mention of wisdom is only the perfection of wisdom. To say that one has become accustomed to it for a long time means that one has become accustomed to it for three countless eons. Although one has become accustomed to it for a long time, there are interruptions, so it is said to be uninterrupted, because it is difficult to be uninterrupted. Sometimes one is not respectful, so to be respectful, it is said to practice. To say that one is permanently liberated from the three evil realms and the suffering of samsara is the perfection of benefiting and assisting, that is, liberation from the three evil realms is the perfection of benefiting and assisting in three ways, and liberation from samsara, thus becoming four types. Or, establishing in the three vehicles and the good realms is the perfection of merit, that is, establishing in each of the three vehicles is the perfection of merit in three ways, and establishing in the good realms, thus becoming four types. The perfection of wisdom is also four types, that is, the four types of perfect results, and each good realm is also divided into four types in this way. Knowing without being taught means the meaning of oneself attaining enlightenment. Knowing everything means the meaning of completely understanding the self and the common characteristics. Knowing all aspects means the meaning of understanding the self and the common characteristics in all aspects. Knowing without effort means the meaning of understanding only with intention. To say that all defilements are eliminated is to eliminate the defilements of the three realms that are to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. Permanent elimination is from the gate of never regressing. Eliminating together with habitual tendencies is because there is no following. To say that the obscurations of samadhi and absorption are eliminated is to be liberated from the division of the two. The perfection of the power of the realm of emanation, complete transformation, and blessing, of which emanation is the general realm.
