The wisdom without obstruction to connection is the power of knowing death, transference, and birth. Regarding the statement "It is six or ten extinctions," if the power of wisdom that exhausts defilements is itself the object of exhausting defilements, then it is the nature of six consciousnesses, except for knowing the minds of others, suffering, origin, and path. However, if one understands the exhaustion of defilements, which exists in the continuum of the exhaustion of defilements, together with the means, then it is ten consciousnesses. As it is said, "The wisdom without obstruction to the exhaustion of defilements and its means is the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements." Regarding the statement "The power of former abodes, death, transference, and birth, is pure in meditation," it is because only meditation is the basis of direct perception, possessing samadhi. For the remainder, regarding the statement "In all lands," how do the remaining powers exist in the desire realm? Because there exists a part of it, namely conventional consciousness. Because wisdom is bright, Buddhas appear among the people of Jambudvipa, and because the powers have the basis of the Buddha, everything has the basis of being born in Jambudvipa. Regarding "Do not say the power of others," it refers to the Shravakas or Pratyekabuddhas. Regarding "Without obstruction," it is a synonym for entering into everything. Regarding "Abandoning those who wish to renounce," renunciation is renunciation, wishing to renounce is wishing to renounce, abandoning those who wish to renounce is abandoning those who wish to renounce, because they are abandoned for not seeing the roots of virtue that correspond to the part of liberation, it is a synonym for not having renounced. The Bhagavan has seen and completely abandoned. This is how an example is given to illustrate obstructing the consciousness of others. Regarding the statement "Not knowing the end of birth, etc.," the word "etc." includes not knowing the end of death and transference. Regarding the statement "The power of the son of No Craving," it is a distinction in the name of the power itself, and the one who possesses that power is also called the son of No Craving. The perfection of the Bhagavan is twofold: the perfection of the basis is the form body, and the perfection of the dependent is the qualities such as powers.

Regarding what is called "joints," some say that all the bodies of the Buddha Bhagavan do not possess the power of the son of non-attachment (sred med kyi bu). What is it then? It is said to be "joints" and "at the joints." If it were not so, the immeasurable power of wisdom would not be tolerable. The phrase "if it were not so" means that if one does not desire the power of the body to be in accordance with the mind, the immeasurable power of wisdom would not be tolerable, meaning it would not become a state of endurance. Because it is said "at the joints," the distinctions of bone joints are elaborated, called "dragon knots" (klu mdud ba). The joints of the Buddhas are like dragon knots, and dragon knots are the connection of dragons. The joints of the Pratyekabuddhas are like rosaries. The joints of the Chakravartins are like being nailed down with pegs. Elephants, etc., are the strength measured by seventy. The phrase "elephants, etc." refers to ordinary elephants, fragrant elephants, great elephant kings, supreme conquerors, excellent limbs, supreme strength, and the seven sons of non-attachment. Its strength is measured by ten, or more than ten. How is it measured? An ordinary elephant, that is, the lowest elephant, has the strength of ten horses, which is equivalent to the strength of one fragrant elephant, this is explained in detail. However great it is, it is acceptable, this is the view of the Acharya (slob dpon). If it were not so, immeasurable wisdom would not be tolerable. Why? Because what relies on the body is in accordance with the body, and the body and mind are mutually harmonious. Otherwise, the elephant killed by Devadatta (lha sbyin), kicking away the fence and seven traps with its toe, would not happen, this is the reason. The phrase "that is the sense-sphere of touch" means that all powers are the sense-sphere of touch. It has two forms: the four great elements (earth, water, fire, wind) and what is made from the four great elements, therefore the "distinction of the great elements" is mentioned, not what is made from the four great elements. The phrase "transformed into another meaning from the seven things" means that the form produced from things other than those previously mentioned, such as gentleness, etc., as the cause, is strength.
