"Not knowing" refers to the Arhat path of the non-returner not knowing, and the Hearer's path not knowing the Solitary Buddha's path, and so on. "The aspects of Dharma and Subsequent Knowledge are not mutually exclusive," which means that the aspects of Dharma and Subsequent Knowledge are compatible and thus established. Knowing the minds of others, which is compatible with the aspect of knowing Dharma, focuses on the antidote to the desire realm, while being compatible with the aspect of Subsequent Knowledge focuses on the antidote to the form and formless realms. "These two" refers to the two that are compatible with the aspects of knowing the minds of others and knowing Dharma and Subsequent Knowledge. Because they are mutually opposed, they cannot be mutually dependent, just like looking at the earth and the sky. "There is no knowing of others' minds on the path of seeing," which is because there is no practice due to the speed of progress itself, and even for those who have attained it, knowing others' minds only manifests through practice. "There is an object for that" means that there is an object for the path of seeing, meaning that through practice, one knows the minds of others, and then the minds of others become the object of the path of seeing. "Two moments of the Hearer's path of seeing, knowing," this is said. "To what extent does one practice effort on that?" refers to the one that is compatible with the aspect of Subsequent Knowledge. "On that" means for that purpose. "The eighth, arising, has Subsequent Knowledge," refers to the four momentary aspects of suffering, such as impermanence, and the four aspects of arising, and so on, therefore it is called eight. "Because the effort is small," this is said. Hearers also have little effort, because for them, the effort that is compatible with the aspect of Subsequent Knowledge is impossible. "Without effort" means that without effort, all qualities can manifest, therefore the Bhagavan, the master of mind, knows all the moments of the path of seeing without interruption, and the power of wisdom accumulated by immeasurable collections in three countless eons is inconceivable. The aspects of Dharma and Subsequent Knowledge

If it is said that quiescence means knowing exhaustion and non-arising, because the difference between these two is not seen, it is necessary to determine, what is the difference between knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising? Therefore, it is elaborately stated, "Those who know exhaustion, regarding the truths." How then does one know it as it is with uncontaminated wisdom? This refers to grasping and proclaiming the sixteen uncontaminated wisdoms. After that, it is elaborately explained, "Arising from that," because uncontaminated wisdom cannot know it as it is, because liberation is without conceptualization. These conceptualizations arise from arising from uncontaminated wisdom, because there is an opportunity for arising after that. This is the result of the effort of knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising, because conventional wisdom is obtained through their power. Therefore, the treatises show the difference between the two through their distinctions. The so-called "through their distinctions" refers to the distinctions of conventional wisdom, that is, the result of the effort of the individual. Among them, the result of the effort of knowing exhaustion is from "I have completely known suffering" to "I have cultivated the path." The result of the effort of knowing non-arising is from "I have completely known suffering, and there is no need to completely know it again" to "I have cultivated the path, and there is no need to cultivate it again." The so-called difference between the two refers to the difference between knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising, because the difference in results does not confuse the difference in causes. The so-called "uncontaminated ones also know it as it is" refers to those who think that there are uncontaminated ones other than the sixteen aspects, and they would say, "Uncontaminated ones also know it as it is." If so, it would contradict "Exhaustion and non-arising are not wisdom and vision." Therefore, in order to eliminate this contradiction, it is elaborately explained, "To eliminate the contradiction, vision is proclaimed," for the knowledge of the Dharma of suffering, etc., vision, wisdom, and intelligence will be proclaimed, and these two are also proclaimed immediately after, so from the previous inference, the monks now also see these.
