If. Seeing suffering, that means the one who realizes or of suffering. The three ways of realization are as described above. Among them, the realization of action is to fully understand suffering. If you ask, how is the realization of the three, such as arising? Therefore, it is said to abandon and manifest, and for the sake of cultivation. When suffering is seen, arising is abandoned, and cessation is manifested through obtaining it, and the path is cultivated through the way of manifestation. Because the aspects are different, it means that each of these is a fourfold aspect, and the aspects are also different in meaning from each other, and one consciousness cannot have many aspects. If you say, however, everything is in the aspect of selflessness, because the aspect of selflessness is the same for all four truths, it is not contradictory to become one realization through seeing it. If you say, then wouldn't the truths become seeing suffering, etc.? Or, becoming suffering, etc., wouldn't the truths become seeing fifteen aspects such as suffering on suffering? Like that is extensively explained. If, for each of the truths such as suffering, you do not want to see the aspects of suffering, etc. with uncontaminated wisdom, then, therefore, this contradicts the sutra, that is, the noble Shravaka contemplates suffering, etc., which is extensively explained. If you ask, is there such an aspect even at the time of application? Therefore, it is said to have uncontaminated contemplation, and at the time of application, it is impossible to have uncontaminated contemplation. If you say, that is on the path of cultivation, that is, the noble Shravaka for suffering, etc. It is not said, but because of cultivating as seen. In this way, how the truths were seen before, later they become the path of cultivation in that way. For the rest, obtaining freedom, obtaining freedom is without application and

One obtains the ability to directly see suffering and so forth. It is said that one should examine whether there is arising in the interim. For example, if the sutra says that one should offer food to one who has entered the stream in order to directly see the fruit of entering the stream, then one who has not arisen may be deceived by the food. Some say that because the conditions are not complete, there is arising in the interim. The Vaibhashikas say that there is not, and that it is spoken from the perspective of possibility, just like the teachings on the Sala tree and the Uposatha, which are spoken after a thorough examination. Because it is said in the sutra that seeing one is the direct realization of the aspects of the others. The reason for saying this is that if one sees suffering, then there are three direct realizations of it. How so? The exhaustion of the afflictions of seeing suffering is the abandonment of the origin. Obtaining cessation is the direct realization of cessation. At that time, the manifestation of the antidote is the cultivation of the path. Therefore, the origin and so forth are the direct realization of the aspects, because they are abandonment, direct realization, and cultivation. Therefore, we also acknowledge this, so there is no fault. If you say that the sutra speaks of gradual direct realization, so isn't there a fault? Therefore, the sutra speaks of the sake of seeing direct realization, and one must want to see each truth individually, otherwise the afflictions of wrong entry will not be abandoned. There are three sutras with examples as sources, which appear in the Samyukta Agama. How does it say? The householder Anathapindika said to the Blessed One: Venerable, are the four noble truths directly realized in stages, or is it one direct realization? Householder, the four noble truths are directly realized in stages, there is no single direct realization. Householder, if someone says this: without directly realizing the noble truth of suffering, one should realize the noble truth of the origin. The origin
