For example, it is the noble path. As for the term "entering," entering is because it is in accordance with the aspect of liberation. Complete maturation is by those who are in accordance with the aspect of definitive discernment. Complete liberation is by the noble path. The phrase "because it is completely grasped by its aspiration" means that it is completely grasped by the aspiration of the mind, and aspiration is a special state of mind. The phrase "some people give only a little food" means that because it has the characteristic of begging in every way with body and speech, it is also possible that all three exist from giving food. The phrase "even a little discipline" means that it is an action of body and speech. The phrase "by generating the power of desiring liberation" means that generating power is having power. Generating the power of desiring liberation is generating the power of desiring liberation, that is, for someone who has a firm intention to abandon samsara and is inclined to enter nirvana, even a small amount of merit arising from generosity, discipline, hearing, and contemplation can lead to accordance with the aspect of liberation, but conversely, even a large amount cannot lead to it. The phrase "in accordance with the aspect of liberation" means that the aspect of liberation is the factor of liberation, and the aspect of liberation is attainment, and therefore, or for this reason, what is beneficial is in accordance with the aspect of liberation. It leads among people, whether or not a Buddha appears. The phrase "because in every way there is wisdom and no aversion" means that if the sound is not pleasant, then neither exists. In the bad realms, there is aversion but no wisdom. In the realms of the gods, there is wisdom but no aversion. The phrase "commencing to explain the order of realization" begins from "endowed with discipline, stability, hearing, and thought, one should diligently apply oneself to meditation," and the explanation up to the order in accordance with the aspect of definitive discernment has been completed. The phrase "untainted Dharma-acceptance" means that even those who are in accordance with the aspect of definitive discernment have acceptance of the Dharma, therefore, untainted is mentioned. The phrase "distinguished by the similar cause" means that Dharma-knowledge is its similar cause, therefore, in order to know that it is untainted, it is distinguished from the acceptance in accordance with the aspect of definitive discernment, in order to understand.

It is explained for easy understanding. Like a tree of flowers and fruits, for example, a tree for flowers is called a flower tree, and similarly, a tree for fruits is called a fruit tree, so is the forbearance of knowing the Dharma. The so-called "thatness" is forbearance. Why? Because it is said to be for surely entering into reality. How is that reality? It is established by scriptural authority, the so-called reality is what is said in the sutras. How? What is reality? It is the complete abandonment of desire, which is explained in detail in the sutras. The so-called "in that" means in reality. The so-called "becoming one" refers to attaining Nirvana without exceeding seven rebirths. The so-called "entering into that is manifest realization" refers to having the characteristic of becoming one, and clearly indicates "in that." Furthermore, what is manifestly realized in that? It is obtaining that state, because one obtains the reality of that place of birth, it is called entering into certainty. The so-called "like a lamp and birth" refers to the three things that have future functions: birth, a lamp, and the forbearance of knowing the Dharma about suffering. Just as a burning lamp dispels darkness and burns branches and butter when it goes out, so when the forbearance of knowing the Dharma about suffering is arising, it abandons the state of an ordinary being, and when it ceases, it abandons the ten subtle defilements. Others say that by the excellence of worldly dharmas, etc., what? It is that by combining the meaning of the text, one can eliminate the state of an ordinary being. No, because that is its dharma. The meaning is that because that is the dharma of an ordinary being, it is impossible to eliminate the dharma of an ordinary being. Because it is contrary to it, there is no fault. The meaning is that although those are their respective dharmas, they are contrary to the state of an ordinary being. Like riding on the shoulders of an enemy to attack him, for example, someone rides on the shoulders of an enemy and attacks him, similarly, riding on the enemy of the state of an ordinary being, he destroys the state of an ordinary being.
