The term "is" is a term used only by Buddhists. Those who possess this Dharma are those who believe in this Dharma. Non-Buddhists are not, because they contradict attachment to "self" and because this Dharma is profound. Because one cannot realize the profound Dharma oneself, it is said to be profound because it possesses six reasons. If there is no scriptural proof, one does not even know how to count, let alone follow. The so-called "body and mind abide in peace" means not manifesting body and mind, that is, relaxing the body and relaxing the mind. One should first count the entering, and then count the exiting. For birth, it is entering first; for death, it is exiting later. In this way, from realizing birth and death, one will become familiar with impermanence. The so-called "mandala of wind" refers to following downwards. The so-called "between the scattering winds" refers to following upwards. The so-called "therefore one should not only focus on this" refers to between the mandala of wind and the scattering winds, that is, inhaling and exhaling should not be too long. Will there be any benefit? Will there be any harm? Is it cold or hot? These will appear. The so-called "relying on them, mind and mental factors" means arising in dependence on them. The so-called "until the excellence of Dharma" refers to starting from abiding in mindfulness. The so-called "entering the path of seeing, etc." The reason for saying "etc." is to include the path of cultivation and the path of no more learning. The so-called "complete purification is knowing exhaustion, etc." Here, the reason for also saying "etc." is to include knowing non-arising and the correct view of no more learning. Just as clothes are stained with dirt, because there is no purification, what has residue should not be pure. The so-called "where the body reaches" refers to the range from the desire realm to the third dhyana. Inhaling and exhaling are only within these ranges; other ranges are not the object of samadhi. The aspect of the body

The reason for saying "because it is one" is considering "because it is a part of one's own body." For example, mindfulness of breathing refers to focusing on the breathing of one's own body, not focusing on the breathing of another's body. The reason for saying "depending on the special body and mind" is because this will arise. For formless beings, because they do not have form, there is no body to rely on. For those who have become flesh lumps and other forms, although they have a body, because it is not hollow, it is said to depend on a special body. For those who have entered the state of non-mind, because they do not have mind, it is said to depend on mind. For those who have entered the fourth dhyana, although they have mind, because it is not the basis of breathing, it is said to depend on a special mind. Therefore, if the body is hollow and the mind of breathing also manifests, then it is said to have entered. The so-called "birth" refers to being born from the womb. The so-called "sentient being" refers to the reason for having obtained and not obtained (aggregates), and the reason for falsely establishing in the continuum. The so-called "born from a similar cause" refers to the meaning of being produced by a cause with the same destiny. Because the body will grow and diminish, it is not produced by growth; because it will reconnect after being severed, it is not born from maturation. The so-called "the form of maturation does not have such a situation" refers to being able to reconnect after being severed. The so-called "the lower mind cannot realize it" means that those born in the desire realm realize it with four minds, while those born in the first, second, and third dhyanas realize it with three, two, and one mind respectively. The lower emanation mind is manifested by those born in the first dhyana and so on, while the behavioral mind is manifested by those born in the second dhyana, therefore it is said that the lower behavioral mind and emanation mind cannot realize it.

Moreover, if the lower mind of an emanation and practitioner, which manifests by generating a higher mind, cannot comprehend anything, then what need is there to discuss other virtues and afflictions? "The two doors of entry have been explained" refers to: "Therein, entering the impure thought, with the mindfulness of breathing in and out." Having attained the samadhi of these two means: "Having attained samadhi through the impure thought, breathing in and out, and arising." "Quiescence having been accomplished" means samadhi has been accomplished. "For the sake of accomplishing insight" means: "For the sake of accomplishing wisdom." This is a synonym. Even if samadhi arises, without wisdom, afflictions cannot be abandoned, because afflictions should be destroyed by wisdom. If mindfulness is cultivated, insight will be accomplished, from where does this come? It comes from the sutras, namely, "Monks, this is the one and only path, namely, the four mindfulnesses. The unmixed collection of virtues is this, namely, the four mindfulnesses." Therefore. The self-nature of these is their own essence, for "the self-nature of these" refers to these such as the body, namely, the elements and what is made from the elements, as well as feelings and so on. The word 'body' also applies to pure things such as the senses, therefore it is said "the elements and what is made from the elements." Those other than the three are dharma, which refers to all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas such as formations and consciousness other than the body, feelings, and mind, all of which are the mindfulness of dharma. In "atoms and," not everything can be seen there, therefore the word "manifestation" is spoken. The explanation of wisdom and not relying on the object of focus, it is said to be the mindfulness of self-nature. "Arising from hearing and so on" means that mindfulness arises from cultivation, it is not innate. How are the three kinds of wisdom mindfulness
