From the beginning of complete conceptualization, up to the stages of warmth, peak, forbearance, and the supreme worldly dharma, this is the stage of discernment. Regarding the two truths, it is also taught in the sutras. So, what is it that is mentioned in the sutras? It is the content that is widely known as "seeing the illness as soon as it touches." As it is said, a doctor with four qualities is fit to remove the poisoned arrow, it is the duty of the king, and it is also counted as the king's own ability. What are these four qualities? It is being skilled in diseases, being skilled in the source of diseases, being skilled in the elimination of diseases, and being skilled in preventing diseases from recurring after they have been eliminated. Similarly, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, who possesses four qualities, is also called the unsurpassed doctor who removes the poisoned arrow. What are these four qualities? Monks, here, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, truly knows as it is, "This is suffering, the noble truth"; "This is the origin of suffering"; "This is the cessation of suffering"; "This is the path leading to the cessation of suffering, the noble truth." This is how it is said in the sutras. The phrase "because of what was previously thrown" means because of the previous throwing. It is like a horse running unhindered on a track that has been shown. It means that just as a horse runs unhindered on a track that has been shown, similarly, in the stage of discernment, the truths are seen as they are, and one is not hindered by other conceptualizations, and thus one realizes. Realization means to realize manifestly and truly. So, why is it only without outflows? If it is asserted that this is without outflows, then "seeing" is without outflows. Precisely for this reason, it is said that it is the true realization that is directed towards Nirvana. "Manifestly" indicates the direction towards Nirvana; "truly" indicates the meaning of suchness; "realization"

This shows understanding. Therefore, it is said that it is the correct realization that is directed towards Nirvana. It will be shown that realization is directed towards Nirvana and realizes its very nature. The path of seeing does not err in attaining Nirvana, therefore it is directed towards Nirvana. As it is said, "It will surely descend to perfect enlightenment." The so-called "those aggregates of appropriation that have become fruit" are composed for the purpose of distinguishing suffering, arising, and the world. The so-called "because it arises from this" means "birth." The so-called "there is a distinction from the point of view of the eye, but not in substance" means that although two truths are established by establishing different states in one thing, there are no different things. Showing duality is not contradictory, just as the realization of knowledge and seeing are established as separate. The so-called "cessation and the path also have a distinction in substance," the word "also" means that from the point of view of name, cessation and the path also have a distinction. The so-called "if these are true for all because they are not inverted" means that whatever is suffering is suffering for the noble ones, and for others, suffering is inverted, even up to the path. The noble ones see these as they are, that is, in those forms such as impermanence and suffering. Therefore, these are the truth of the noble ones alone, and not of the non-noble ones. Why? Because they see things in reverse. They see suffering as true, arising as not a cause, cessation as not pacified, and the path as not a path. How so? It is mentioned, "Whatever happiness is spoken of by the noble ones," etc., because they see what should be accepted and what should be abandoned in reverse. The truths of suffering and arising are the noble ones

are the truths, but those are not noble ones, because they are tainted. The truths of cessation and path are noble through the gate of virtuous noble ones and untainted noble ones, therefore they are called noble truths. If it is said that one aspect of feeling is the nature of suffering, that one aspect of the aggregate of feeling is the characteristic of suffering and unpleasantness, then why are forms, etc., not of that nature, yet the five aggregates of grasping are called suffering? Suffering itself is threefold, which is explained in detail as follows: Suffering alone being suffering itself is the suffering of suffering, which is the term for suffering by its own nature. Suffering by change is the suffering of change, meaning that it is not by its own nature. The suffering of conditioning is the suffering of conditioning, which is the term for arising. Among them, the pleasant ones are said to suffer from the suffering of change, meaning that those who are not free from attachment due to separation from them will inevitably suffer from the suffering of change due to the arising of sorrow, etc. The unpleasant ones are said to suffer from the suffering of suffering, meaning that they suffer from the nature of suffering and the conformity with suffering. Because manifest harm arises to body and mind. Those other than them are, meaning those other than the pleasant and unpleasant, which are neither pleasant nor unpleasant, suffer from being manifestly conditioned by cause and condition. If only feelings are of the nature of benefit, harm, and separation from both, and are established as pleasant, etc., then the question of how forms, etc., are is explained in detail as what is pleasant. Because of its power, meaning because of the power of feelings such as pleasure, the conditioning of experiencing pleasure, etc., also includes forms, etc.
