Just as one separately examines these dependent arisings, in that way, these become individual obstacles. Dullness, sleep, excitement, and regret are also the same. "Inappropriate temperature of food" means eating too little or too much. "Calm abiding" means single-pointedness and one-pointedness of mind. Craving for desire and harmful thoughts harm the aggregate of ethics, because these two gradually distance one from detachment from desire and sin. Dullness and sleep harm the aggregate of wisdom, because they distance insight. Excitement and regret harm the aggregate of concentration, because they distance calm abiding. If one thinks in this way, that is, if one thinks that dullness and sleep are contrary to the aggregate of wisdom, and excitement and regret are contrary to the aggregate of concentration, then the obstacles of excitement and regret will be mentioned before the obstacles of dullness and sleep. Why? Because in this way, in whatever order the aggregates of ethics, concentration, and wisdom are shown, the obstacles that are contrary to them should be shown in the same order, because there is no need to go beyond the order. "According to number" means that dullness and sleep are the near afflictions of the aggregate of concentration. Excitement and regret are the near afflictions of the aggregate of wisdom. Thus, diligence in concentration is feared by dullness and sleep; diligence in proper reflection is feared by excitement and regret. "Wandering" means wandering for the sake of alms. "Dwelling" means dwelling inside, either sitting or walking. "Manifestation" means that the signs of the beautiful and the ugly become manifest. "After that, entering into concentration" means that ignorance here is the reversed attention to the causes of calm abiding and the causes of insight.

No. The term "in order" refers to dullness and sleep, which are obstacles to calm abiding, while excitement and regret are obstacles to insight. Just as the image of form does not appear in water stirred by a red wind, so the mind stirred by excitement and regret cannot see reality. Doubt also prevents seeing reality. The phrase "all beings who go to unequal realms" is an elaboration, the objects of all beings who go to unequal realms are the realms of form and formlessness, and they should be fully known by the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of suffering and its origin. Those are not abandoned at that time, because they have already been abandoned. Those are because they were abandoned earlier when dharma knowledge was obtained on suffering and its origin. The objects of those to be abandoned by the sight of cessation and the path, which are aimed at the contaminated, are the wrong views and so on to be abandoned by the sight of cessation and the path. Since those wrong views and so on are included in suffering and its origin, they are fully known by the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of the dharma on suffering and its origin. Those are also not abandoned at that time, so what is it? Later, they are abandoned by the dharma and subsequent knowledge on cessation and the path. At that time, the objects of those are also not fully known, because they have already been fully known. Therefore, how those are abandoned should be stated. The phrase "fully knowing the object and the complete exhaustion of its object" is an elaboration. Mentioning the object on one's own ground is to exclude beings who go to unequal realms. What about "those who aim at the uncontaminated"? It shows that it will be exhausted by fully knowing the object. Mentioning aiming at the uncontaminated is to exclude aiming at the contaminated. As for "with the complete exhaustion of its object," the objects of these beings who go to equal realms, those who go from unequal realms, are the objects of it. The complete exhaustion of its object is the complete exhaustion of its object.

Therefore, if the correct cognition of the object completely disappears, then all beings tending towards unequal realms will disappear. Because of abandoning the things that indicate the object, all beings tending towards unequal realms will be empty. Regarding "those who focus on the uncontaminated are their objects," it means that stopping wrong views etc. and focusing on the truth of the path are the objects of those to be abandoned by seeing the path, such as desire, etc., because the object is abandoned, so the object-possessor is also abandoned. Disappears through the arising of the antidote. It means that since the truths have been completely understood before, it is not through completely understanding the object, nor through the complete disappearance of the correct cognition of the object, because they are not all beings tending towards unequal realms. Nor is it through abandoning the object, because previously abandoning the object and the focus on them themselves, after abandoning the focus on them, there are no longer desires, etc. Regarding "the great of the great," it will be explained as: through small, medium, and large, small and other differences. The antidote of abandonment is the uninterrupted path, meaning that through it, the attainment of afflictions is completely cut off, which is all the uninterrupted path. The antidote of the basis is the path up to that point, meaning, for example, the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, etc. Regarding "through what," it will be elaborated in detail. Through what, that is, through the uninterrupted path of endurance, etc. of the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, etc., completely holding the attainment of abandonment and separation. Here, the uninterrupted path other than the first uninterrupted path is also included, because the first uninterrupted path is only the antidote of abandonment, not the antidote of the basis. Regarding "the antidote of the nature of extension," it means that because it makes the nature of the nature of extension, it is the nature of extension, that is the antidote. The path up to the path of liberation, meaning, the path of liberation, that is, what is the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, what is the path above that, if so, then here, other than the first path of liberation
