The path of liberation should also be taken. This is the only antidote to the root, not the antidote to the nature of prolongation. Others say that it is also the path of liberation, so in that case, the first should also be taken. Previously, only the other path of liberation above the path of liberation should be taken. It also prolongs those attainments. This is the first path of liberation, not only holding onto the attainments of separation. The antidote to refutation is which path sees that realm as a fault and refutes it? This is the path that focuses on the truth of suffering and origin. In this way, it refutes that realm as impermanent, etc., and is synonymous with abandonment. Furthermore, the order of these is the teacher, relying on the manner of a ladder, how the order of arising, and the nature of non-confusion are kept in mind and explained. The path of union that focuses on suffering and origin, here the path of union is taking warmth, etc., not the path of no interval, etc., because it is established as abandonment, etc. The so-called all paths of no interval, are the eighty-nine paths of no interval that focus on the four truths that should be taken. The path of liberation is, from the beginning, the only antidote to the root, not the antidote to the nature of prolongation. The antidote to the nature of prolongation is the superior path. The so-called superior path is that all paths other than the three are superior paths. From the corresponding one, it is not possible to distinguish afflictions, because it is born of the nature of not arising if it does not exist, so it cannot be done individually. The temporary future can be distinguished from the object, why? Because it no longer arises by focusing on that object. How can the past be known? Because it has arisen and ceased by focusing on that object, it cannot be distinguished from that object. However, the meaning of this is, by completely knowing the object, etc.
