The mind associated with the co-emergent view of the transitory collection grows through that co-emergent mode. The previously arisen mind associated with the view of the transitory collection grows through the object and co-emergence mode, since the later view of the transitory collection is the object. For the remaining nine minds associated with the view of clinging to extremes, etc., growth occurs only through the object of the view of the transitory collection, not through the co-emergent mode, because there are no two independent afflictions that are co-emergent. For the minds to be abandoned by seeing the origin and the path, and by meditation, growth occurs only through the object mode, not through the co-emergent mode, and it is the same as that. Just as the view of the transitory collection has been explained, so too should the remaining pervasive ones be explained. Desires and so forth that are not pervasive do not grow in other realms, but in their own realms, it should be explained as the view of the transitory collection has been explained. Ignorance grows in all ten aspects through both the object and co-emergent modes. The pervasive elements of unequal share grow only through the co-emergent mode, not through the object mode. Just as it has been explained in the realm to be abandoned by seeing suffering, so too should it be explained for those to be abandoned by seeing the origin. The object of the realm to be abandoned by seeing the path, which is with defilements, also grows through the object of the mind to be abandoned by seeing the path, which is with defilements, and through the co-emergent mode, just like the realm to be abandoned by seeing suffering. The object of the realm to be abandoned by seeing the path, which is without defilements, such as wrong views, is that those minds associated with it grow only through being associated with what is to be abandoned by seeing the path, because it always focuses on the path, not through the object mode, because it is an antidote that is not taken as self. That has already been explained above. The realm to be abandoned by meditation is that the mind afflicted by desires and so forth grows through the object and co-emergent modes of what is to be abandoned by meditation.
