Although it exists, it is not freely possessed of samadhi. One is bound by afflictions, and the second has no distinction of samadhi. Regarding giving up life and blessing, it should be examined in this way: In the sutras, the Blessed One blessed the formations of life, which is explained in detail. Because the names are different, there is doubt that the meanings are different, so the question is: What is the difference between them? Some say: There is none at all. If so, how is it? It is explained in detail like this. From where is it said? It is said from the Abhidharma. How is it said? What is the faculty of life? It is the life of the three realms. Because it is said in the sutras that the formations of life are blessed. The formations of life are understood to be the result of karma that is produced now. Giving up the formations of life means giving up what was previously sought. Regarding "by what kind of similarity," etc., by what kind of karma will the similarity remain in the future, those are the formations of life. By what kind of previous karma is it possible to live happily from now until another time, those are the formations of life. Since the formations of life are a plural word, why should it be a plural word? The plural word is explained in detail like this. Life itself is the formation of life, which is explained in detail, in order to abandon and bless the many who dwell in all formations of life. There is no need to abandon or bless a single moment, because that cannot obtain the benefit of benefiting others and the characteristic of establishing the teachings, and it is unreasonable to universally generate the mind of abandoning and blessing from the life of only a single moment remaining. Accumulating between other times indicates that life is only a moment. Having the nature of abiding is existing, just as the view of the Vaisheshika school (Indian Samkhya school) believes that the self and the mind combined are a firm life, these do not exist here. Regarding the many formations, it is explained in detail, the Sutra school says, this is enough to explain

The five aggregates, etc., and the nature of the conditioned aggregate, which does not possess the four aggregates such as feeling, etc., prevents the lord of life, so they say. Therefore, it is said that there is no single entity. If it is not like that, it means that if the lord of life exists as an entity. Then it would become that after life is blessed, life is abandoned. To show the control over death, it is because the control over death is here. Only three months are blessed, neither decreasing nor increasing. Therefore, it is said that there is no meaning of subduing. Because during that time, the continuum of the extremely good is completely matured, so there is no need to bless three months up and down. Regarding the feet of magical power, it is widely said as: the feet of magical power of desire, mind, diligence, and discernment, which are both magical power and feet, so they are the feet of magical power. The meaning of feet is the basis, because magical power is the basis of all qualities. If you want a kalpa or more than a kalpa, a kalpa is a long time. More than a kalpa is more than a kalpa, meaning longer than a kalpa. That is also for accomplishment, to accomplish what was promised. If it is not like that, it is just empty words. Regarding the aggregates and the Mara of the Lord of Death, in order to overcome the Mara of the aggregates, it is abandoned, and abandonment will lead to death, so in order to overcome the Mara of the Lord of Death, it is blessed. Under the Bodhi tree, it is widely said as: in the evening, the Mara of the sons of the gods is subdued, in the second period, the world is observed with the divine eye, and in the third period, the Mara of afflictions is subdued. In Vaishali, the conditioned action of three months of life was also blessed. As it is said: After you attained enlightenment, you subdued the lord of the desire realm, and on the unobstructed path of enlightenment, you benefited the lord of the three realms, as it is said.

O! Afflictions and the demons of the sons of gods are demons, because they obstruct liberation from the aggregates and the Lord of Death. Therefore, it is appropriate to say that the Bhagavan is completely victorious over the four demons. By the way, the other questions that arose are finished. The so-called "twelve two" means "twelve are only two kinds" and "only twelve are two kinds," which must be understood definitively. The so-called "two" can be either the result of maturation or not the result of maturation. Since the twenty-one faculties have no difference, the question asked because they are not understood is: "What are the twelve?" Therefore, it is said, "Except for the last eight and displeasure." The last eight are entirely virtuous, and the result of maturation is unspecified. Displeasure can be either virtuous or non-virtuous, but there is no unspecified, therefore, except for the last eight and displeasure. Saying "those other than the life faculty" is said for easy understanding. The so-called "those other than the life faculty" refers to the four feelings other than displeasure, as well as the mind and the seven eyes, etc. Among them, the eyes, etc., are explained in detail, and for the eyes, etc., there is no other difference except for those born from maturation and those born from growth, so it is said that the rest are the result of maturation. Saying "those that are virtuous and afflicted" is because the result of maturation is unspecified. The so-called "walkers, craftsmen, and emanators" are unspecified, but because they are to be accomplished through effort, they are not the result of maturation. The so-called "as appropriate," these actions, etc., are only consciousness because they have entered into manifest fabrication and are therefore accompanied by investigation. Now, in the desire realm, all three are present. In the form realm, all except craftsmanship are present. In the formless realm, since there are no actions, etc., none of the three are present.
