Those and so forth are those themselves, they are the realm of mind. For past consciousness, it either transforms into the realm of mind that has not arisen before, or the realm of consciousness of the eye and so on itself exists previously or does not change, because consciousness itself establishes the other object of dependence of consciousness as the realm of mind. Therefore, it does not go beyond the nature of mind. If it is not like that, then the saying "if it is not like that" will arise. If it is not like that, what will happen? If consciousness does not become the presently arising and future realm of mind, then the past will also not become the realm of mind and the consciousness of the eye and so on. If that is the case, the realm of mind will become only the past, and such a statement will appear in detail. If the realm of mind becomes only the past, what will happen? Therefore, it is said, "those eighteen realms." Again, why is it thought that way? Therefore, it is said, "If consciousness is future," and so on. The reason for that is explained: the nature is not confused at any time, that is to say, confusion is another future, another presently arising, and another past. Therefore, whatever is the nature of future consciousness and presently arising, that is also the nature of the past, because future consciousness and presently arising also abide in the nature of the realm of mind, so in the past, its nature is not confused. Therefore, for consciousnesses, the nature of the support of consciousness is not always present, among the six, the immediately past, whatever consciousness is, that is mind. For those who have passed, this is clear. Therefore, the six realms of consciousness of the past, future, and present arising are all internal, and thus it is established. The meaning of "dharma" is having dependence, and it must be understood as only having dependence, because it will appear that the remainder are also the same as it. This is the nature of the object of having dependence. Whatever object is determined as the object of any consciousness, if consciousness arises on that object

Or, "completely" should be added. "Having the nature of arising" means distinguishing it from "having the nature of non-arising." In this way, it becomes the grasped and the grasper. The realm of phenomena also has the nature of being the grasped and the grasper, therefore it is called "with dependence." "In what is there consciousness" means that mind is the object of all knowable things, because in what realm of phenomena of the three times, where the infinite consciousness of mind has not arisen, or will not arise, and what is timeless, then there is nothing. "Infinite" means uncountable. How is it? It is said "like this," which means "because of what." Because of what? All noble beings will undoubtedly give rise to the knowledge that "all phenomena are without self," therefore the realm of phenomena is always with dependence. Its object is also apart from arising simultaneously with its own nature, which means that the object of the knowledge that "all phenomena are without self," also because clinging to one's own nature is contradictory, therefore it does not cling to itself, that is, apart from its own nature, arising together with it, that is, apart from mental factors with one object, and because it is very close, apart from those with attainment and arising, etc., it refers to all phenomena other than those. That which is associated with and arises together with the mind is also grasped as selfless by other minds. In this way, the objects of two moments become all phenomena, and it will be explained that: only by convention, from one's own collection, others arise realizing selflessness. Then, since all eighteen realms are objects of the knowledge of selflessness, will they become dependent like the realm of phenomena? No, because they are dependent in relation to their own function, and because they are established as being the same as it. The remainder is also the same, etc., which means that if it is definitely thought that phenomena are only dependent, then based on this alone, the others are dependent and the same as it.
