Sa. It should be told between the metaphors of those born in the world. The difference between these two metaphors is caused by place and time. The obstacle to the object is that the mind and mental events hold their own objects, so this is only established on the objects of the mind and mental events themselves. What is called "doing something to something" is like the eyes doing seeing to forms, etc. Furthermore, what is called "doing"? It is ability. Like this, if someone becomes capable of something, then he will become the one who says, "That is my object." From the arising of the appearance of something, the mind and mental events hold and contemplate, that is the object. Obstruction is entering coarsely, and not entering coarsely is not coarsely, therefore it is well known in the world. Also, how is it one's own object, such questions often arise. Because one does not enter into others, it is said that whether it is consciousness or the senses, whichever part of form, etc., one enters into, one holds others from that other. Someone is obscured by someone, That is not entering outside of that, just as here, not entering outside of the permissible realm is obstruction. Or, investing in this is obstruction, that is, entering one's own realm. What is it that enters the realm? It is the arising of that realm in the realm, and the realm-possessor is related there in the nature of holding, therefore it is said that the three contacts are combined. The ten realms are obstructed, and there are three kinds of obstruction, it is said. For those who do not understand what kind of obstruction there is, therefore it is said that these ten here are obstructed by obscuration, so it appears in detail. Because they obscure each other, it is said that this is because of the accumulation of dust particles, so they obscure each other, so being obstructed by obscuration is the cause of obstruction itself. If that is the case, then being obstructed by obscuration is form, etc., and the eyes, etc. The obstruction to the object is the eyes, etc., and the mind and mental events.

Ground. Obstructions to the object are mind and mental factors, etc. Therefore, there are four possibilities, and it also connects with the latter phrase. The first possibility is showing the realm of mind and the aspect of the realm of phenomena, which is called: Whatever is the object of mind and mental factors, that is also their object, so it is object, etc., but not an obstruction to obstruction, because it is not an accumulation of subtle particles. Objects, etc., are accumulations of subtle particles, so they are only obstructions to obstruction, but not obstructions to the object, because they are not subjects. Thus, there is no object on objects, etc. The senses are accumulations of subtle particles, and they are subjects, so they are obstructions to both. Non-associated formations, i.e., non-associated formations, unconditioned phenomena, etc., non-revealing forms, those do not abide in the object, so they are not obstructions to obstruction, and those do not have an object, so they are not objects. Are those that are obstructed by the obstruction of the object also obstructed by the obstruction of the object? Answer: It connects with the latter phrase, called: That which reveals is the word, meaning that which can be understood. Which of the two words is the last word, it can reveal, that is connected with the latter phrase, and which is the former word, that is connected with the former phrase. For the time being, speaking of the obstruction to the object, because without an object, mind and mental factors, etc., will not arise. The five senses, etc., are only obstructions to the object. Non-associated formations and forms, etc., do not have an object. For those who want to generate mind, it is extensively said: mind, intellect, consciousness, these meanings are not different. For those who want to generate consciousness, is it for which support and which object? Wanting to generate is wanting to arise, wanting to generate consciousness, for that, other obstructions, by what will the consciousness of those not arise? It can act as an intermediate obstruction, for example, if there is an obstruction between the eye and form, etc., those consciousnesses do not
