Having asked extensively: The word "etc." includes both consciousness and mind. It exists, that is, there are no other lands and rocks, etc. Regarding this, it will be explained as follows: Only the "lands" of touch, etc., can increase the senses and the great elements, and that is food; other "lands" and the unleakable are not. By relying on which morsel do the senses weaken? Because this situation arises, therefore, if one eats something that causes harm, then it is not food, therefore it is widely mentioned "what one eats." Stating the reason here is initially for the sake of benefit, which is widely manifested. Specifically stating the Vaibhashikas is to refute the four possibilities. Considering the food that increases, it is said that there is no contradiction, regarding this, considering the food that increases, therefore the four possibilities are stated, and in the Vibhaga it is said that karma is food, which is not contradictory. The food that weakens is in hell, which is widely manifested, because it obtains the characteristics of morsel food. How is it? Therefore it is said: The ability to quench hunger and thirst is the characteristic of morsel food, and even in hell, burning iron balls and molten copper water can quench hunger and thirst, which is not contradictory to food itself. How does it quench? It cannot be said that it quenches, but it is able to quench. If it is able to quench, why does it not quench? Because of what does it not quench? Is it because the fire element is too much? Or is it because the karma of sentient beings has not diminished, and it is the same as that? In the context of morsel food, this should also be examined, the Blessed One said, which is widely manifested. Regarding dwelling in Jambudvipa, the Blessed One said that whatever flows from the Jambu forest all flows to the ocean, flows into the ocean, and returns to the ocean, therefore Jambudvipa itself is called the Jambu forest. Because it is in the context of food, it should be known that it refers to men with strength, not to the weak, etc. Others say that it does not refer to small people. That is not reasonable.
