It is considered that these are also explained by mentioning contact. It is not the case that there are different objects, faculties, and consciousnesses from these. Therefore, just as with existence and so on, by explaining separately from these, it should be known that merely the collection of these is not contact. By explaining separately from objects, faculties, and consciousnesses, contact is not something that exists separately from these. Why is it not? Because feeling and craving, etc., are also mentioned in detail as arising from the dharma-sphere. If, like craving and so on, it exists separately by being explained separately, then in that case, from these six sets of dharma categories, feeling and craving are said to exist separately from the dharma-sphere, then it would be inferred that they exist separately from the dharma-sphere. That is not what is desired. Therefore, speaking separately is not the cause of otherness, but because of delusion. Regarding "also the dharma-sphere apart from these," etc., in which, by excluding feeling and craving, the dharma-sphere is explained. There are non-composite dharma-spheres that do not include feeling and craving, as well as non-form phenomena, and dharma-spheres with characteristics such as perception and mind. Therefore, whatever is explained separately from something is only different from that thing, so there is no error in explaining separately. In this way, it is explained in detail here, in this way, whatever is mentioned in this sutra as internal and external sources, and whatever can be mentioned by mentioning consciousness, apart from the three, object, faculty, and consciousness, which are the cause and effect of contact, there are no other three that have not become contact. Therefore, contact is only different from the faculties, objects, and consciousnesses, because it is explained separately. If the objects, faculties, and consciousnesses similar to this, for the independent internal and external sources and the six consciousnesses are explained separately, and for those that depend on the same, mutually dependent, it is mentioned by mentioning the collection of contacts, because that meaning is not another entity, but object and faculty.

If it is thought that there is no contradiction in indicating separately from consciousness, then, if the statement of consciousness appears extensively. Objects and faculties are the same as it, so they do not depend on consciousness, consciousness is not without objects and faculties, because they are the cause of consciousness. A cause can exist even without a result, but a result is not without a cause, because it depends on it to arise. Therefore, the six groups of consciousness should be indicated separately, like objects and faculties, consciousness that has not become touched, and does not depend on objects and faculties, is not at all. Therefore, having said that the three have been indicated, it refers to objects, faculties, and consciousness. Saying touch is meaningless, for those faculties, objects, and consciousness themselves are touch, and those have also been indicated, so indicating the six groups of touch again becomes meaningless, which is not what is desired. Therefore, it should be acknowledged that touch is only different from aggregation. For what are the things of cause and effect, the eye and form that arise earlier, and the eye consciousness that arises later, are the things of cause and effect, so only those are established as the things of touch. Those such as the eye that become cause and effect refer to the inner and outer sources of birth, and the group of consciousness, those are also the root and the environment and the consciousness arise at the same time, and each other intermittent before and after the birth, so said the teacher auspicious birth, for this also has an answer, if the root and environment without consciousness and so on widely appear, that is it itself. Not to say that way, not to do first, then what? These three dharmas are interrelated, aggregated, and what arises from the collection is touch, this is the fifth. Or for this cause and so on, the three causes of touch are said to be touch, for example, the Buddhas are the source of happiness. This statement has a state where the form of cause arising extends very much, therefore, the form of cause arising
