That is, all phenomena that arise in interdependence. The term "all conditioned phenomena" refers to the three times: past, present, and future. Now, explanations will be given regarding "future phenomena that have not yet arisen," and so on. Briefly, the term "future phenomena that have not been created" will be explained in detail. Because they are created by the aggregation of causes and conditions, they are conditioned. Although the future is not yet created, it is still referred to as conditioned. Similarly, future phenomena that have not arisen are also called interdependent arising. Again, if they have not been created, how can they be called conditioned? Therefore, "manifestly creating" is mentioned, meaning having the nature of manifestly creating, with the mind wishing to become such and such, to manifestly accomplish the result. "Because of thinking" means wishing to become a god or a human, and so on, because of thinking in this way. Some say that "manifestly creating" means manifestly creating the fruit of maturation, so it is manifestly creating. Because one desires a body with all equipment, the objects are also thought of in this way, so the objects are not contradictory to being conditioned. Because it is not the basis of craving that enters, the question is asked to refute: How about the unpolluted dharmas? Because they are not the fruit of maturation. "For the sake of attaining" means thinking, "May I attain the unpolluted dharmas." If it is also extended to Nirvana, it will also become conditioned, so it should be combined with "conditioned." That is also because it is attained through virtue, so it is thought of by the mind. "Because it is of the same kind as that" means answering in terms of future phenomena being conditioned and interdependent arising. Because it is of the same kind as conditioned phenomena and of the same kind as interdependent arising, the uncreated and unarisen phenomena are also designated as conditioned and interdependent arising in the same way. Here, for the past and present arisen phenomena, "conditioned phenomena" and "interdependent arising" are real terms, while for the future,

It should be known that this is the result of the investigation. Regarding this, if we use an example, it will be explained in detail, just like the phrase "it is temporarily impossible to become form." The word "able to become form" is used because this cause with function is similar to that, so it does not contradict the future form without cause. Similarly, it does not contradict here either, which is what it wants to express. Just like "cause and effect, father and son," just as a seed relies on a cause to become a fruit, and is called a cause in relation to the fruit; just as it relies on a son to become a father, and is called a son in relation to the father. Similarly, a limb relies on the fruit to become dependent arising, and is called dependent arising in relation to the cause. In that case, the distinctions will not disappear. The phrase "Sthavira Samrdha in Na Ri" will be explained in detail. The thought of Sthavira Samrdha is: just as it is produced from a cause, everything is dependent arising; just as it becomes the cause of other things, everything is dependent arising. This seems to be the meaning. If explained in this way, the first case is all future dharmas, because they have not arisen, so they are not dependent arising, but because they are the cause of other things, they are dependent arising. The second case is the last moments of the Arhats, because they have arisen. In this way, other dharmas do not arise from the past or present dharmas of the last moments of the Arhats. The third case is "other than that," which refers to the past and present dharmas that have arisen other than the last moments of the Arhats. These dharmas have both arisen and become the cause of other things, so they are both. The fourth case is unconditioned dharmas, because they have neither arisen nor are they causes, so they are neither. Although unconditioned dharmas are causes, they are not dependent arising, because the definition of cause is incomplete there. So, what is the definition of cause? It is "this being, that arises; this arising, that arises; this not being, that does not arise; this ceasing, that ceases." Regarding this, although unconditioned dharmas exist, things arise, but it
