Speaking of the power of that assembly, it is said to be "wings," etc. Power and ability, as well as ability-power, have the same meaning. For example, the power of all phenomena manifests extensively, just as a person with jaundice, whose eyes are damaged, sees everything as yellow; a person with cataracts sees the moon as two. Also, just as only a lodestone can draw an iron thread, and nothing else can; when the moon rises, water flows only from crystal, and not from coal, etc. Similarly, even without other forms, relying on the surface of the eye and the mirror, and similar forms, an eye consciousness with the appearance of that image arises. Because it is not constant, this is extensively manifested. If the image belonged to the continuum of form, then it should only be related to form and not to the cause of the mirror. Something that belongs to another continuum should not arise in relation to another continuum. Because it is related to the continuum of the mirror, the image is not the continuum of form, but is like the form of the mirror related to the mirror. Also, because they arise simultaneously, the image is not the continuum of form. Something that is the continuum of something else is not seen to arise simultaneously, like a seed and a sprout. Just as the continuum of a dying being is like the continuum of a being being born, these two do not arise simultaneously. When "continuum" is extensively explained, the example of grain is used to illustrate how the continuum operates. Since the image is not a continuum, the example is not appropriate by refuting it. The reason why the image arises from two, this part is extensively explained, arising from two is arising from two, because it arises from two. The main cause is the mirror, etc., because it follows it. For example, if a sword is placed tilted, the image will also appear tilted and long; if it is placed upright, the image will also appear the same. If there is a second non-primary cause, such as semen and blood, etc., then, therefore, it is primary.

It is also said, "any kind of cause." If someone asks, is it only semen and blood, etc., that are the main things, because it is by relying on them that the existence of birth is formed? Therefore, it is said that external semen and blood, etc. Others say, "Because they are different, it is not a metaphor." It means that if the form is reversed, the image will be destroyed, but the aggregates at the time of death cease, and the aggregates belonging to birth, etc., will not disappear. If it were not so, the continuum of beings would be interrupted. Images arise in the same way as forms, but the existence of birth does not arise from the existence of death in the same way. Otherwise, cows, etc., would only be reborn as cows, etc., after death. Therefore, there is no similar metaphor, they say. The phrase "because it is said in the song" means because it is said by yourself. Regarding "not reciting these sutras," etc., although other sects that slander the intermediate state are well known in other sects, they are not used as a basis because the basis of collection has declined and there is concern that they will be overly fabricated, because they are not included in the scope of those treatises. "Three places" refers to three causes. Conception refers to production. "Unsuitable field" refers to the inability to conceive. The phrase "having menstruation" indicates that although it is suitable for conception, it also depends on menstruation. Even if she has menstruation, if the ability to conceive has not been lost, this is the first place. In the phrase "father and mother did not have intercourse but met," there are both those who had intercourse but did not meet, and those who met but did not have intercourse, so both are said, this is the second place. The phrase "the gandharva is near" is the third place. The phrase "the gandharva is near" is also because those who do not recite do not say it that way from their treatises. So how do they recite it? They recite, "the disintegration of the aggregates is near." Here, the disintegration of the aggregates refers to the existence of death. If so, in the Sutra of the Son of the Horse, it is widely said that the disintegration of the aggregates refers to travelers, comers, brahmins, etc.
