Because it depends on this, it becomes a subsequent follower of afflictions. From those with learning and those without learning, it is only the time of emerging from samadhi. There are eight kinds of subsequent followers from birth, the afflicted ones in the desire realm are at the time of their own connection. Except for the fruit of clairvoyance, it depends on what arises from effort, because the self is obtained. The afflicted ones in the formless realm are at the time of their own connection. In "the virtue in the desire realm and the four afflictions," the afflicted ones are at the time of their own connection. Afflicted by the samadhi of afflictions, because it depends on the underground, therefore it is virtuous. In "that is the subsequent follower of eleven minds," from those in the desire realm, it is at the time of their own connection, from what arises from effort, and the place of craftsmanship, and the fruits of clairvoyance, there is no death, because it is not free from desire, therefore there is no connection there in the subsequent follower of afflictions, therefore it only arises from three. The so-called "except for what arises from effort" is because it is impossible to die from it. From the three in the formless realm, it is only the time of their own connection. In the subsequent follower of the practitioner, there are seven, in "the afflicted ones in the desire realm," it is at the time of their own connection. The so-called "except for what arises from effort and the fruit of clairvoyance," the practitioner cannot be the mind of effort, because it enters with weak strength and without obvious creation, and because the mind is directed towards others. The afflicted ones in the formless realm are at the time of their own connection. Now, let us speak of the four in the formless realm, in "what arises from effort in the form realm," it is the time of emerging from samadhi. It is not in the desire realm, because of the kalpa. Those with learning and those without learning are at the time of entering samadhi. The so-called "what arises from effort in the form realm" is the time of entering samadhi. The so-called "except for what arises from maturation" is because it enters with weak strength and without obvious creation.

Because what is born from maturation does not arise from this. The so-called "arising from those who are learning and those who are not learning" refers to the time of arising from samadhi. The so-called "afflicted ones of the lower realms" refers to the time of acting in the desire realm and the form realm, that is, the time of connecting the two. The so-called "in the aftermath of the afflicted ones, there are eight" means that the virtuous dharmas belonging to the form realm are at the time of arising from being disturbed by the samadhi of the afflicted ones. The afflicted ones are at the time of connecting the two. The afflicted ones who act in the desire realm are only at the time of connecting the two. The extensive explanation of "acting in the desire realm and the form realm" is only at the time of connecting the two. The so-called "three afflicted ones of the lower realms" refers to the time of connecting the two. The so-called "in the aftermath of the learners, there are six" refers to those arising from the combination of the three realms, and those belonging to the desire realm who are born with it, which is the time of arising from samadhi. The learner is relative to the continuum. The non-learner is like the knowledge of exhaustion following the vajra-like samadhi. The so-called "three arising from combination" refers to the three realms. The so-called "arising from the learner" is relative to the continuum. The so-called "in the aftermath of the non-learner, there are five" refers to those arising from the combination of the three realms, and those belonging to the desire realm who have obtained the place of birth, which is the time of arising from samadhi. The non-learner is relative to the continuum. The so-called "three arising from combination" refers to the three realms. Arising from the learner is like the knowledge of exhaustion following the vajra-like samadhi. Arising from the non-learner is like the knowledge of non-arising following the knowledge of exhaustion. If the learner does not arise from the non-learner, then how is it that the learner who has fallen away from the non-learner? This is because falling away occurs from arising from the samadhi of the non-learner, since there is no falling away for one who abides in samadhi. These are because of entering into the manifest activity of conduct and crafts, and because of weakness, and because of entering without manifest activity. The so-called "the one who walks is the one who has entered into the manifest activity of walking and so on, and the one who dwells in crafts thinks, 'This should be done in this way,'"
