To hinder the arising of mind, the immediately preceding condition is not a cause. For example, if yogis who are capable of arising from mind and mental factors enter into a state of mindlessness, if mind and mental factors are what lead them, then yogis will not develop desire for it, because the arising of mind and mental factors will inevitably occur, and it is also what leads them. These two are contradictory. Is it not reasonable that the person without perception is also the immediately preceding condition of the mind, and therefore should not be one of the three? If asked this way. Although this should be said, because it arises from maturation, it is connected with 'own' and 'by', because it does not arise from the activities of the mind, therefore it is not said. This should be understood as being included in the later sutras. Others arise from the two. The meaning is, not only do they arise from the two, because it is not definitively grasped, therefore it is not the objective condition, because the nature of mind and mental factors is not consistent with the state of mindlessness, therefore it is not the immediately preceding condition. The causal condition among them is: afflictions and maturation-born. And so on, following what was said above, it should be understood that anything appropriate is the cause, except for the co-existent cause. Do things arise only from the causes and conditions mentioned above? This is explained extensively, just as it is not possible to establish what is desired or to eliminate what is not desired merely by stating one's own doctrine. Therefore, things arise only from the causes and conditions mentioned above. The sole cause of all beings, such as the independent god, does not exist. A reason should be given for this. For the cause of beings, the independent god, the self, and the primordial matter exist first, that is it. The word 'etc.' includes time, nature, and atoms, etc. If it is thought that it is established through the establishment of reason, then this indicates a contradiction with the first aspect, that things arise only from the causes and conditions mentioned above.

In order to establish that the sole cause of all beings is not the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天) etc., it is to seek a cause other than the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天) etc. The term "that nature" refers to the acceptance of a cause other than the Isvara If it is said that there is no fault because it is the knower, then if it is the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天), it is not the knower, and thus it is not the agent of accomplishment, and therefore it becomes the same fault. "Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天) etc. are not because of sequence etc." The word "etc." includes place, time, and the determination of things. The sequence of the arising of things depends on the complete transformation of the cause, rather than on the cooperating conditions. Because it is permanent, the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天) does not have complete transformation. Thus, if complete transformation is becoming other, then it should not become other, because it would become impermanent. Therefore, depending on complete transformation, sequence is not reasonable. Because the cause of everything is only the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天), there are no cooperating conditions, and therefore there is no reason for a cooperating cause. Therefore, all beings would arise simultaneously, because there is no difference in their cause. As it is said: If beings arise from the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天), beings would not arise sequentially, because what is seen is that nature, and it would not become the wheel of samsara of beings. It is like this saying. The external sprouts etc. and the internal soft things etc. also appear to arise sequentially. Whatever cause does not depend on a cooperating cause earlier, then it is not later either, because there is no difference. Therefore, the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天) etc. are not the cause of beings. The arising of things is because if it exists, it exists, and if it does not exist, it does not exist, it is due to the power of the collection of causes. For the Isvara (自在天,梵文:Īśvara,梵文罗马拟音:Īśvara,汉语字面意思:自在天), it is not the case that if it exists, it exists, because it is always existing. Similarly, the arising of things will not be determined by place, time, and thing, because they are not the cause, just like other places etc. This is now.
